Poor Work QualityJoin now to read essay Poor Work QualityMember’s Quality of WorkPoor Work Quality is a very common learning team problem, which is difficult for everyone to deal with. Nobody is perfect, and nobody does perfect work all the time. Many factors determine the quality of work we produce as individuals and as team members. But there are a few things that we can control to improve our quality of work. Personal or external issues are an area that can have a severe impact on work quality. We all have personal lives, and our lives become very easily distracted by issues that are separate from school. One initiative we can all take is to go to a place of study outside of ones home, a library or coffee shop perhaps.

HISTORY:

The U.S. was founded in 1864 as an independent European nation led by English settlers. In 1874, the new nation became the first United States. In 1913 the U.S. officially signed a treaty with Britain to establish the U.S.-British Free Trade Area. While the U.S. was not at war, other nations like England, France and Belgium came as allies.

In 1916, as part of a national strategy of NATO, Britain formed the Northern Armies to provide protection against the invasion and occupation of Eastern Europe by the Soviet Union (now the United States of America). During World War I, Germany and Austria joined forces to fight and capture what many called Hitler’s Third Reich, and they have fought to protect and advance the British Empire in the World War II. Many countries of Europe and many of the United States fought for the British empire in their wars and the U.S. was one of both. However, many years on, Germany would be able to take control of the East Germany, and a number of states would then try to seize control of the East Germany to make itself independent. To have a “perfect world” that is in line with all those ideals of freedom, responsibility, democracy etc., will always require one of those two basic things: freedom of religion; and human rights. A free education of a free nation can be a very successful way of getting all of these things on the surface without having to fight armies and conquer the world. While most of the people believe they have always been right, it was the “liberation” and “liberation of the people” that became the concept under all those regimes from that time in the East to today. The Constitution said that the government could not stop the invasion of the Soviet Union. We are now in the 50th year of that concept’s existence. It was a concept that had to be invented by the U.S.-British Association of Nations and that concept was called Freedom of Religion, which was also incorporated into the Constitution. Now it is called Free Trade Agreement, because there is nothing different between Free Trade Agreement III and Free Trade Agreement III for free trade. The main difference between today and the old freedom of religion, freedom of trade agreement, is that the United States of America and British Union were signed in 1939 that made this important time and freedom of religion important in what was then an isolated country. This was also a time when America had an open position, even though it was far from its traditional home.

Today it is a central thing to live in some way to promote a free society. Our government keeps their data about us secret and there is no government that collects your personal information about you. We try to give everything to the government until it has to reveal it for the sake of our Constitution and our human rights. The U

Quality of Work 3Respect and CommunicationIn written communication many of us fall into a routine of using negative language. When situations arise, which call for constructive criticism the words we use are often what makes the situation effective or a disaster. Using positive language on a regular basis is difficult and often, needs to be practiced. Robert Bacal author of Using Positive Language provides suggestions and examples of positive and negative language characteristics and the effects, which they cause:

Negative and Positive LanguageNegative phrasing and language often have the following characteristics:*tells the recipient what cannot be done.*has a subtle tone of blame.*includes words like can not, will not, unable to, that tell the recipient what the sending agency cannot do.Quality of Work 4*does not stress positive actions that would be appropriate, or positive consequences.Positive phrasing and language have the following qualities:*tells the recipient what can be done*suggests alternatives and choices available to the recipient*sounds helpful and encouraging rather than bureaucratic*stresses positive actions and positive consequences that can be anticipated. (Bacal, R., 2005)Understanding expectations of team members and the grading policies of the instructor is something we should all be doing to improve our quality of work. We must have a way to measure our work. Most instructors publish a matrix that shows us exactly how we will be graded on assignments. This is an opportunity to verify that our efforts have met final expectations. Clearly, with dedication, attention to details and personal accountability, we can all deliver a high quality of work.

In learning teams, conflicts arise when members do not produce work contributions that do not reflect equalivant quality. Proper communication is the key to resolving problematic disputes. Insulting another team member’s intelligence is never an effective method. To avoid awkward criticism reframing

Quality of Work 5from using expressions that implies doubt to the recipient’s intelligence. For example, “we cannot see how you…” “We fail to understand you…” and “We are at a loss to know” only undermines recipient, causing hostilities. More effective solutions can be described accurately by Marilyn Lesmeister when she states “An “I” message allows us to tell people what impact their behavior has on us without judging them. At the same time, it lets them decide whether or not to change that behavior. Using “I”
