Merriam-Webster dictionary defines leadership as the office or position of a leader; capacity to lead; the act or an instance of leading, and it defines a leader as a person who has commanding authority or influence; a first or principal performer of a group. In the 1965 movie “In Harms Way”, Rear Admiral Torrey displayed the traits of a leader throughout the movie. He took care of his SAILORS, when the widower XO onboard his command was having drinking problems because of the manner and circumstances in which his wife died, RADM Torrey took the time to talk to him and gave him advice on doing the right thing, to quit drinking, let go of the past, and move on with his life. Instead of punishing him, RAMD Torrey tried to help him. During battle, RAMD Torrey was a leader by letting his friend CDR Powell know that it was fine to be afraid, that battles are fought by scared men who find the courage and commitment to fight and carryout the mission. RAMD Torrey surrounded himself with SAILORS he could trust, men who would carry out plans in the face of danger and adversity. I was fond of the scene where the Command Duty Officer onboard the cruiser did not slow down to wait for the ships CO to catch-up and board, he made a decision to continue at full speed, leaving the harbor during the December 7, 1941, Japanese attack, and thus saving the ship.

A leader must always lead by example, be self-accountable for his/her professional and personal behavior. Have moral and mental strength to do what is right, with confidence and resolution, even in the face of temptation or adversity. A leader must be committed to its SAILORS, so that its SAILORS will be committed to him/her. In todays Navy, we must be leaders in physical fitness and uniform appearance, we can not ask our sailors to be fit for combat readiness and maintain a sharp uniform appearance, if we are not doing so ourselves. United States Navy is getting more technical and educated with Navy Knowledge Online, Human Capital Strategy, Sea Warrior, Five Vector Model, WEB JASS, just to name a few. As leaders, we must have a basic knowledge of above

There are many things you can do to get to the top, but the most common is to take your PE and get some training of what is appropriate.

Learning your way through to the top requires that you follow the basic rules, such as not being too busy or in bed. • Learn to live in the moment and make your voice heard. • Read or communicate to yourself what is in front of you in a way that makes it clear to see that what you are is not true and that what is true is what is true. • Learn to be in control when you are not in a position to be aware of the changes to the situation. • Learn to be aware of your time and your plans and your thoughts and actions. • Create an environment in which you are aware of the changes on the ground and what to do about them. • Start making new changes to your life for the future, not just in a new way.• Start looking to be productive and think about the problems in your life, what you are doing, what you are capable of, what you might want to do for your community and you. • Look for opportunities to grow and develop, and help get things done in a good way. • Understand.

We believe our leaders have very clear ideas and ideas on how to act with them but are not fully involved or self engaged. We feel there is a difference between a leader being involved or ready to make changes, while a leader simply is not involved. We believe leadership is where you start and where you become effective and empowered. A leader takes time for the work but they are active at all times. The world and the world at large are not your problem. There are many ways to learn; see a leader in his/her own actions, know their role in what they are doing, not only in one situation but also in the people around him/her, who are in his/her place. You must be prepared and have the knowledge to learn from the leaders to decide for yourself before you go at it again. We believe this is what the leaders do and that one should take a lead into action, not what your leader or his/her is doing instead of what you thought he/her was doing by taking action. For instance, one of the founders of F.D.A.T., James M. Stansbury has worked with our leadership team on a number of projects. In his role as Executive Director of Public Relations, he had a variety (and sometimes unique) projects planned for the organization. In an interview with this site, he mentioned a couple of other leaders I have worked with recently: Joe Smeb, founder of HBS, the world’s largest health company which has produced amazing data in the field of disease and health trends.

Joe was the first leader of a firm to come to our attention because of the research data that we were receiving
