In the novel To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee, the author intends the reader to learn that you shouldn judge people by there race. Later on I will be telling you about a life as the Cunninghams, Bob Ewell, and Atticus. So if you listen up and pay attention you will almost be as smart as me.

The Cunninghams were the poor family they were so poor they couldn afford shoes for the family and they also never had any food. “Walter Cunninghams face told everybody in the first grade he had hookworms. His absence of shoes told us how he got them.”
