1. Government- it is the assembly and proceedings in which public laws and guidelines are made for a nation, or society.
2. Politics- are the types if methods that our leaders chose to follow and then base their action out of. These are the politics that the politicians chose to go after generate important decisions to societys problems. The way that these politicians are elected is by the peoples votes.

3. Political participation- is a way that citizens interact with their government. Ex: sending letters to a governor or representative and protesting.
4. Policymaking system- is the establishment and movements that connect legislature, methods, and the community together.
5. Linkage institutions- are the avenues by which the nations protocol desires are delivered to the governments attention like through the news, websites, or church groups.

6. Public Policy- is the decision that authority decides to follow in return to a legislative problem or political problem.
7. Democracy- is a structure in which the people choose their politicians so that they can follow the politics that they ask for.
8. Pluralist Theory- A theory technically stating that politics is just competitions among groups in the government or trying to get in it.
9. Constitution- it is literally the roots of a tree, its the base of a government and nation. Congress, laws, rights all branch out from a constitution.

10. Declaration of Independence- a testimony that was authorized by U.S. representatives and lawyers that declared freedom from the British.
11. Limited Government- the belief that the government cant completely control its people because of the natural rights they have.
12. Articles of Confederation- it was the first attempted structure of the U.S. but it failed due to lack of power like being able to tax the people and build a strong army, etc.

13. Shays Rebellion- rebellion lead by Daniel Shays because the government was taxing farmers a lot and were threatening to take their land away.
14. 10th amendment- it states the federal government should not break the rules and the states and people hold their rights yet are still under federal law.

15. Implied powers- are federal powers that the government that the government has like making laws, setting someone for execution or rule out execution for a criminal.

16. Full Faith and Credit- a part in the constitution that tells states to respect each others civil judgments and court cases.
