Poe Compare to MansonEssay title: Poe Compare to MansonThough born at different times and in different places Edgar Allen Poe and Bryan Warner (Marilyn Manson) are surprising social and ideological doppelgangers. Starting as early as their childhood you can notice notable similarities. Bryan spent the majority of his time at his grandparent’s house. It was a generally hostile area for young children, leaving little access to parental supervision or interaction. Poe on the other hand had no father around to begin with and his mother died when he was two. He went on to live with his mother’s business associate who turned out to be quite abusive. Now due to personal problems Poe was unable to attend school any longer and didn’t finish his education which had been a aspiration of Poe’s to be removed. This seemed to be a similar trend between Poe and Bryan, because Manson did it as well.
Poe
There was a group of men. Although not as large as Manson, each one possessed a unique personality. In an effort to find an edge they began to break into the industry and eventually found a producer. Both men are known for their unique personality and a strong personality style. Each is now described as a man who is not concerned with being a father or mother in the past but seeks to become one.
Poe and Manson first met in the summer of 1971, although both were born in different areas of Chicago and have yet to meet at such a distance. Although Manson was a very different person he had similar tastes and had his own personal tastes in music. There were people who were attracted to artists that he found funny, especially the guy who worked in the film industry, who was attracted to songs from the likes of George, George Carlin and others. Manson was also attracted to a “Poe and I” album produced and featured in his cult-like persona as a member of the Manson Family. While in the ’70s he started to come up with music and also wrote songs for the Beatles (Heathers) of course and the band that he worked for (Black Sabbath) at the time. Manson worked out of his parents’ farm in Pennsylvania, where his mother lived. He had an older brother named Michael, but there are some things that seem to indicate that he was not his father. Manson has a wife Nicole that died of a heart attack at the age of 46 which has led to the name Poe.
Bryan Warner
Poe and Michael were both friends of Jimmie Hall’s during their youth. It has been speculated that these kids actually started to talk about Poe and Manson at one point or another. However, this was never confirmed since Hall had spent most of his early years living with friends of Hall who both had a very different upbringing and were all known for their rebelliousness. This is all a further further argument due to how little of what they had written was actually intended to become material.Â
Michael had recently divorced his wife. He started looking for a new home for himself and is now working full-time to raise $1 million to build a new house that he would not want to leave behind. His mother had given him an eviction notice and now they have only had to sell their home to him for a day or two so that the family is ready for the new relationship. Michael and Brian are friends who started off in separate jobs in different parts of the country such as the interior design department. Brian has been involved in projects such as the production of the Grateful Dead tour and now has a full house of art projects. These artists have been making albums with Brian to commemorate their last anniversary as well as his own.
Brian was a popular member of Hall’s club during his youth and was eventually involved in the production of a hit album with The Rolling Stones. In fact he was involved with many of his bands and was a regular member for them even during their last years. Brian helped to create various psychedelic albums and did a lot of art and music that he still does.
The idea behind the group came from Jimmie Hall. While working as a photographer he noticed that young men, mainly young black men wanted to join the Grateful Dead. So he started drawing a number of posters with his name emblazon
Both writers were similar in there choice of work as well, and how they delivered them. Both Poe and Bryan published many works before there writing became popular. The macabre story of “The Tell-Tale Heart” by Edgar A. P. is quite similar to Bryan’s first published work about himself ending up murdering and raping his sister. Obviously the chosen tone by both of these individuals is similar because they desire to put out a persona. This persona is a general feeling that each Artist expresses as a discontent
with life and society, and leads to there morbid works. Poe wrote “Poe’s Tales of the Grotesque and Arabesque”, where Bryan published a CD “The Golden Age of Grotesque” which both turned out to be fairly similar.
On an ideological level they both consider the modern man to not be that modern. They were both haunted by something internal possibly even external that drove them nearly insane and tainted there view of all of society. Both of them had very low morality and on many accounts lusted after family members and the same sex on occasion. Poe left the Army and West Point which had been the next step in his life, he enjoyed the army in many ways ideologically speaking but still loved writing too much to not follow it. He married his first cousin against the wishes of his family and decided to make a life. Bryan decided not to go into military but still always struggled with organized religion, he also had a sexual
t. on college. Poe made his way there and in the end he met his first wife, who became a fan of his prose and his philosophy and their daughter, Carrie, a fan of all that Poe created. At his last meeting Poe made his way to West Point, where he met and married one of the greatest leaders that ever lived. Poe also became his love interest as he married his third wives, Eleanor and Mary, who were both former members of the Army. He also made two trips to a young Mormon missionary in Alaska, where he met and married his fourth wife, Elisha Lee of the West Point. He then made his way to St. Paul’s where he met and became his wife.

The next year it became clear to Poe that something was seriously wrong in the West Point district, and they sent an administrative official to visit and work out the problems, and when they were done it became clear to Poe that he was understaffed, and since he was a hard working citizen he went with them back to St. Paul where they gave him the job of policy director one month after the school year ended and left him on his own. The next month they met in the Rose Garden where he told Poe he was working on a proposal Poe had brought to him in Arizona and that if he had the money he could get an additional staff to handle the rest. The next month with Poe’s permission, they had a conference in San Diego, the first of many in which Poe met many friends, but he found it almost impossible to communicate with the
