All leadership philosophies progress over a period of time. Experiences both positive and philosophy in leadership is while addressing what role a health care leader should play, what leadership theory they should follow and why leaders should follow that theory (UOP, 2011). This paper will also describe the writers current sphere of influence, explaining how she is a leader in her current position and how she applies the philosophy she describes (UOP, 2011). Last but not least, the writer will address how she envisions the use of informal, formal, positive, and negative power as it applies to her personal philosophy of leadership (UOP, 2011).

Personal Philosophy in LeadershipA key attribute in any industry in todays environment is leadership. To be a successful leadercommunication is the main key between the leader and the employee. Every leader needs to communicate their core values as well as the organizations core values and the leaders philosophy of leadership. A successful leader also has to have a vision for where he or she wants to be in the future (Daughtery, 2009). Leaders should also have strategies on how he, or she, is going to accomplish objectives; a plan on how to achieve a goal (Daughtery, 2009).

This writers leadership philosophy combines relationships, understanding the organizations goals and vision, knowledge and diversity, and coaching and developing. Looking at this writers first part of her leadership philosophy is the building of relationships. In order to be an effective leader relationship must be built with the leaders employees. This part of the philosophy can be a little bit hard because of the different personalities that everyone has. As a leader employees need to understand the leaders vision, the employees need to feel that the leader is upfront and honest with their communications. Effectively communicating with every employee is a daily job responsibility on the leaders side. Without having effective communication with employees can have negative results and unhappy employees.

I am a graduate of the University of Missouri. Here I seek to create an experience that is positive, focused, and inclusive of all students: a student body where all the faculty, staff, and students feel welcome. This will be a teaching philosophy for the university. I believe that the focus on the students is what makes the university special. As a teacher or lecturer I see students as a human being or a potential partner and a strong partner that helps the institution improve. To do this I want my students to feel valued and respected through a supportive, supportive environment.
To me any student should be able to express himself or herself freely and freely. I want my students to be able to express their feelings and values, not be coerced to speak their mind or be afraid, but to feel empowered and feel treated respectfully and thoughtfully. I have a strong belief in our democracy – a democracy that encourages open, personal interactions between a student and the faculty at the university as a whole, with students being allowed to express themselves freely and without fear and coercion. I believe your students should be able to express themselves in a way that allows your staff and faculty to understand and understand that their viewpoints matter and that these feelings are valued. Any time we create a dynamic where students are able to express themselves freely in a way that allows the University to succeed, our students will be able to understand the purpose behind their own actions.

This philosophy is a new way of building a stronger, more inclusive and inclusive student body. I want your students to know how this philosophy builds relationships and what is at stake in making the college stronger for all. We have put in place a strong partnership. In 2011, over 1 million students at our student colleges received our leadership philosophy in high marks; at The University of Missouri, nearly 1 million students at The University of Missouri are now enrolled in our education curriculum and have taught our leadership philosophy in many other higher education colleges and universities from the moment they graduate. During this same time, nearly 2 million students at our public universities have taken this philosophy and made it a life-long commitment on campus to ensure our students are the best they can be.

The second part of this writers philosophy has to do with helping employees understand what the organizations value and goals are. Without understanding what the organization expects from every employee and what they want to see as to the success of their business, employees are clueless and wont know what the organization expects from them as an employee of their organization. This is a crucial part of this writers philosophy because it could give the employees a sense of not caring about how they perform as long as they are receiving a paycheck every week.

Knowledge of the employee and the diversity of each employees is another part of this writers philosophy. It is very important for leaders to know each of their employees strengths and weaknesses as well as the diversity within the leaders team. This part of the philosophy allows the leader to understand the teams best practices and opportunities. It allows the leader to know which employees are knowledgeable in different areas of each performance metric and could assist other team members that struggle in those areas. Without knowing this information, the leader will not be able to get the employees to work as a team and provide the team members with the knowledge they need to be successful as a team (Gerhardt, 2009).

Knowledge of this work was of greater use to this early stage of the career as the leader would try to be helpful. Being able to help others when needed was of a great advantage both for the leader and the leader’s team. One of the things that was of benefit in this role was that each employee had to feel as his or her company was known for and the company did not always have access to it (Horn, 2004). Since the leader needed to know how a leader is built and understood and the team as a whole was aware of this, it made it easier for them to know what work was needed the leader wanted them to be able to have while on the job (Gertz, 2012). Knowledge of Robert Daubert was of great use to this beginning of a career as the leader. The leadership of his team was of great benefit for the leader since it was no mistake that each of the team members would be able to communicate effectively and effectively with the other team members. A leader in a successful team also would know the way to keep all of the meetings going well during meetings and to be as informed as possible of other aspects of the team’s thinking. This was especially important for teams who were trying to become more focused and focused in terms of meeting deadlines and building strong relationships. Since Daubert had written about the way a team operates for which he had access, many of his managers and many of his former employees enjoyed his books and the insights he provided them. In addition, many other members included him into many of their committees of knowledge. Last but not least, as a leader it is important to be able to assist the employees in areas they are having problems with in meeting specific performance metrics.
