Personal Goals
The personal goals that I want to achieve as a student at the University of Miami will be extremely important at this point in my life. These goals that I want to achieve, has followed me a long way to come. I have successfully achieved one of my major goals by enrolling at University of Miami as an undergraduate student in the Bachelor of Science in Business Management program. I know that this degree will take me far in the business world tomorrow and help me pave my goals while continue the military. I am on active duty in the United States Army, stationed here in Central Florida. Considering being enlisted Marine and having to enroll as a student at University of Phoenix is a major achieved goal for me and is a huge step in my life long learning. The personal goals I am looking forward to achieve as a student is to obtain a degree in Business Management program, enhance my communication skills and writing skills, advancement in my military career, and making my family proud. I believe that these goals of mines is what will make me successful in the future here at the University of Miami.
After my reenlistment in the U.S. Army, I decided that I should continue that path as a career. With that decision, I made goal that I would return to school to develop myself educationally and obtain a degree in a management. The reason I have chose the management degree is itÐs similar to my career in the military. Why it is important for me to have personal goal to achieve this degree at University of Miami? I believe that obtaining the degree in Business Management will motive me to a pursuit different echelon. I have to consider that the skills I will acquire at University of Miami will elevate me from others where ever I go or do in this world.
The skills of writing and communication will be a well worth goal to achieve at the University of Miami as a student. These two skills will allow a new perspective for me on how my career will continue to grow. How it will affect me in the military is it will allow me to become more proficient in specific area of my duties, which relies on these two skills. As administrator it will all me to be efficient in areas that will set me apart from my peers, become a reliable leader for my superiors and subordinates. On the other hand it will better me overall including the civilian life. I believe that working in teams and giving presentation will be the important part building these skills.
Advancement in my career while I continue a life long education will have a vast impact on me. Being in the military with a degree will allow doors
