ProfessorHello Professor,I have an Associate’s Degree from a community college and have been nursing for 12 years. At times it seems like yesterday. I started my nursing career in cardiac surgery, transitioned into a clinical coordinator roll, and ultimately a director for med-surg/tele/orth. Over the past two years I have held, in conjunction with my own units, interim director positions for PCU and rehab. I am currently and interim director of a med-surg trauma ICU. Our CEO recently transitioned into another position and my assistant director of my home unit sent me a text asking if I was going to be interim CEO. I like mentoring and fixing other units to function well. I have found with the mentoring process I like to teach so I am considering a duel masters in leadership and education.
