I think that this ordinance wood be a good idea because to many children are skipping school. Vandalism is another serious problem these children have. If parents get fined they might do something about their children. Some parents dont try to teach their children a lesson. But if these children were to be taught a lesson then they might not do the things they do.
When parents dont punish or talk to their children then that is where the parents make their mistake. Some parents might try to chastise their children. Even know it might work that still isnt the way to teach your child what is wrong and what is correct. Their are many other ways to handle a child without abusive behavior. Some parents think that sense DYFS is out they will take their child away from their parent.
If you handle a child by chastising him or her you can be locked up in jail and DYFS will take your child. Some parents dont want that to happen. So if the parent doesnt do anything to the child then the child thinks that he or she can do anything they want and dont get punished. If this ordinance was to be considered then parents would find a way to handle their children without chastising them. The reason I said that was because parents would get tired of paying money for their childrens actions.
Some parents dont care what their children do and they just let their children go
berserk and run the streets. So those kind of children think they can do whatever and whenever they want. Entirely to many children are being because their in the wrong place at the wrong time. Some children that dont suffer the consequences are the children that are usually bad. The children that skip school are bad influences.
Parents are not the only ones that are wrong so are the children. Children know what they are doing before they do it. Children that skip know they are ruining their
