To think of ones self as ageless in knowledge, means to not be bound to the information we should generally be receiving or thinking about at a certain age. When we ask questions about something that is usually too advanced for our age, we show a desire to learn more than what is provided. Sometimes we are told that we are too young to understand or that we are not old enough to discuss certain matters, and even that our age defines us. How we are defined and what we know really depends on a lot more than just how old we are.

If our minds can generate the questions we ask, then we are probably ready to receive additional information concerning the matter. So why should our age stop us from receiving that information; the same information that we will need to understand and eventually use in years to come. Like I said, if we can think about it and ask questions about it, then we should be able to receive the answers, and further our intake of knowledge, regardless of how old we are. Too many times I have seen someone being judged just by their age. We are taught to never judge or be judged just by looks, so why should we judge or be judged by how old we are. Like that famous quote goes, Never judge a book by its cover. That is true even with age. The only thing your age really represents is how long you have been living. Shouldnt we be looked at based on what we know and are capable of understanding, rather than how long we have been living? We should be filling our heads with as much information as we possibly can. The knowledge we gain in our beginning years, will make the information and problems we may encounter in the future easier to understand and solve. To have knowledge and understanding about what we are supposed to know is one thing, but to have a variety of knowledge and an understanding of ideas beyond our years is something we, as young adults, will really need in this fast paced world.

There is a world of information just waiting for us to discover. We cannot
let a number determine who we are and what we can and cannot
learn. There are some people that believe if we are a certain age, we think and act a certain way, and are basically saying that our age and generation defines us. Age does not and should not define us; its the actions we take, the words we speak, the choices we make, and what we believe in and understand that really defines who we are
