How I Will Handle This Situation If It Was to Happen AgainJoin now to read essay How I Will Handle This Situation If It Was to Happen AgainMy name is Geisha Shante Brown and now I am 15 years old. About 4 months ago I got into trouble I never dreamed I could get into. I am not one of your average teenagers. Yes, I agree I make a couple of dumb decisions once every now and then but

April 22, 2005 I made the dumbest decision ever. I went and tried to solve my own problems. I Never got into any trouble, never suspended, never ever arrested, the most trouble was detention and that was because of my 3 seconds late walking into class. I never thought I would be in a major disruption on school campus. Less than 24 hrs I was arrested, took a mug shot, and as nice as Officer Wiggins might be I have something like a probation officer for 3 months. Im 15 years old and when I sat down and wrote my high school goals my 8th grade year, it wasnt to be a trouble-maker in certain eyes. I wanted to be recognize because of my academic not a juvenile record. I wish I could do it all over again in a different way. I should have went and told officer Kirkpatrick that Jasmine was making threats and that I would like for him to talk to her and not let it go any further. If I ever had to go threw this again, I wont

{snip} No one ever told me I was a problem. I still have this one in my car and it has NEVER been there for some time now. Never.

{snip} No one ever told me I wasn’t a problem. I still have this one in my car and it has NEVER been there for some time now. Never. I know my kids are scared to move forward. Maybe some of the kids are afraid of the school for no reason. I am not afraid and I was there one day. My first experience of being in school was when they took a video and handed it to me. I told them the video was the same to all my children. They were on their turn and a guy was talking to them and there was a kid with a red face who was in my class. I took the video out and I asked him what it was and he said, “My name is James Davis, I am the one in the video. I am a law professor at the University of Kentucky. I am a professor and a professor of English with a fellowship where the focus is students who are coming out of college for the first time. I love to study and I have the opportunity to share what I have learned and how it informs the work of our institution.” Now I am learning more about my students and they get to learn from what I have learned. Some of my high school friends feel the same way about you and don’t believe me. They think the kids are different because of their actions. But when students go through the process of learning they learn how they behaved and their behavior influenced who they are. My friends and family never went through that. It is not like they were going to go into law school so they made it too far so I’m not going to let this slip to them. I am taking action to change the way we act and treat our students. I have just begun to listen. I will not let this happen again. The truth is there are so many things that should have been done to teach that kids respect that in our environment but it will never happen. If I see my kids in school that would be a huge mistake, not just me but the entire world.

Why do I even bother to go? I have spent my entire life fighting things and no one ever cared about me. I can’t take it anymore. I have been there my whole life and it still hurts to know that people don’t know me or care what I do because they have never seen or talked anything you could say about me before. I understand that I have had my problems and I am looking to fix them. I will not let this slide to anyone. This is the reality. This is a time to get together. This time is getting harder. I will make this change. I love this and am grateful for it. Don’t you agree? You are better off sitting by and telling yourself that you are better than that. This has not happened in my life and that is OK and not the fault of the school. Just do your own research on your own. Remember to stand up for yourself and make a decision. Remember you are human. Know that at work no matter what any of you say or feel what you do about your actions, if you do not stop the process of learning we are going to end up with some people that are going to find worse. It is time to put your life on the line. I hope that I will give some hope to my fellow student and I will
