Chicago is being played at Cambridge theatre in central London. This play is actually based on the movie Chicago. The play first started in United Stated of America in Chicago it self and then it went all around the world. The play is little different from the movie it’s self. But the dancing in the play was too good. And I enjoyed the play more than the movie.

One odd thing I found in the play was that the orcrusta was on the stage where normally in all the plays they right underneath the stage. Or maybe they have done in this play to make it different from the rest of the play.

Chicago is one of the most eloquent and stylish musicals ever represented on the stage. As the play has had a great deal of changes in their cast due to which the coherence and real strength has been lacking from time to time. The story clearly depicts the real life experiences of few unlucky ones, as a woman who kills her husband and later seeks the help of a lawyer who would acquit her from the charges. Chicago has the most beautiful songs with the most sophisticated and elegant choreography.

Meanwhile, the chemistry between the actors is very impressive as they have a very strong voice which is a bonus. Especially Velma Kelly and Roxie Hart are very convincing and presentable. But one thing that each and every critic would point out would be that when the show started on the centre stage few years back it has changed a lot, as the previous cast was much more exceptional. The two leading ladies on the show are good but not as the previous ones.

Moreover, the play is just a cynical manipulation of the justice system in the form of a media circus. The emotional connection with the characters that one feels is clearly lacking in the theatre. The actors job is to connect with the audience so that could be the part of the story and should feel from within whatever is being portrayed on the stage but in this case it was just an electrifying rendition of the movie.
