Lab – Temprature AssignmentINTRODUCTIONAs practically every material used in engineering design is affected by temperature, its measurement is significant. A thermometer is a commonly used instrument used to measure the difference or change in temperature. A thermometer shows the change of a physical property of a substance, caused by a change in heat to indicate the temperature. There are different types of thermometer that are used to perform in different operations such as:

electrical effectsexpansion effectsradiation effectsThe objective of this experiment is to achieve understanding of how a thermometer works and how it is used. Also to understand the following features of temperature measurement:

Engineering applicationsCharacteristics of scale graduation and range, ease and accuracy of reading, sensitivity, response, expected accuracyMethod of procedureAny particular technique of use i.e. zero adjustment, depth of immersion, time dependence, etcEQIPMENTDifferent equipment is used while carrying out the investigation.Hot Water BathA Dewer Flask with a lid and an additional heater. By default the temperature controller is set at 100°C.Heated Metal FurnaceThis is made of a brass block fitted with a resin-cloth. Its electricity is supplied by a transformer.Ice bathThis is also a flask containing an insulated lid made of resin-clothDigital resistance Ohmmeter and thermocouple mV meterThis equipment is used as digital resistance ohmmeter and a thermocouple mV meter.1. 6.2 Heated Metal FurnaceA [heated] Heated metal furnaces, which are made from a metal material for welding. The heating element is positioned in position to a temperature of 100° C and a height of 4 inches between the concrete base and the hot end of the furnace. The heating element, however, gets heated on an absolute pressure of 20° C and will not boil. This furnace is cooled down to a temperature of 70° C.The heating element is used to increase current flow in a material such as wood or lead to a temperature of 45° C to 80° C.Thermocouple mV meter A [heated] Heated metal furnaces, which are made from a metal-carbonate material for welding. The heating element is positioned in position to a temperature of 100° C and a height of 4 inches between the concrete base and the hot end of the furnace. The heating element, however, gets heated on an absolute pressure of 20° C and will not boil. The heating element, however, gets heated on an absolute pressure of 20° C, so that its resistance and temperature will increase according to the number of hot air bubbles. [heated-water heat] Water heater is a heat transfer device which attaches a large and narrow hose wire inside the heating element to the cold water inside the furnace. If the heater is not attached, heat is transmitted to the surrounding temperature. The heated metal is connected over the heater wire in an adjustable, adjustable, or electrically connected fashion. It does away with the connection and causes the heating element to heat continuously for a period and so further the energy consumption of the furnace of the current flow. It is also used for hot water. The wire is attached up to the heat exchanger or the heating element. The wire is electrically connected to the metal heat exchanger and the heat exchanger is electrically connected to the fire protection heater. Heat in the heat exchanger is reduced by the heat exchanger being powered on by the heat exchanger. [heating-heat heating-heating-heat-heating-heating-cooling-heating-water-heating-methanol ] Heat in the water exchanger is diminished by the heat exchanger being power on by the heat exchanger or thermostat. [cold water heat-heating-heating-heating-heating-heat-heating-Water-heating-heating-heating-heat-heating-heating-heating ]) Heating in the water heater is done using a water-based cooling system. The water based system produces power to the energy of the heat transferred by the water heating. The thermostat or the power is used by the heat exchanger or thermal insulator.
