Shape of a GirlA girl stands tall. Her eyes filled with anger. She stands on stage looking at the audience her toes at the very edge. Light shines on her overhead, obscuring her features.

Adrienne: You must be kidding me. I didn’t not terrorize Sophia whatsoever. I cannot tolerate your accusations Braidie. You were there as well, I wasn’t the only one who did something. You and I both know what you did to.

“We” all decided to to pl-play penalty that day. I was the first to be targeted remember? Don’t pretend not. I took the penalty and didn’t talk about it. You all had fun that day didn’t you, especially you braidie and Sophia. So what this accusations you are making and telling people that I did? Acting as if you were not involved and were just an innocent bystander? You make me want to laugh. Stop bringing your mother into this cause we know that you were there and played the game.

Adrienne sits on the steps, alone, under the street light. The stage is still bare. She begins smoking, the smoke she breathes out slowly start to fade. She talks to no one in particular.

Adrienne: I can’t believe what Braidie is saying. After being friend for so long, thi-this is what she does. After everything I have done for her, she accuses of me being a bullying. Me, Adrienne! Why would I want to do that? I am just a normal teenage girl that has friend and family. I work hard at school, do my homework, and have a job after school. I mean to be honest I am someone that enjoy kidding with people, I mean I tease people but in a fun way, in a sarcastic way. Is there a problem with that fact that I like to tease Sophia just a little more than others? Does that make me evil? Braidie is a hypocrite, acting all innocent while she was there with us and playing. When addressed Sophia as “it” she did too. I don’t understand why she is acting like this now. The biggest HYPOCRITE! We always sat at the front of the class

Katherine: It seems like my friends do not have a great deal of respect to me, it seems to me that they dont get to meet their friends before the semester.

Katherine: Yeah I do know that I am supposed to have my good looks, and so I know that I am supposed to show off my confidence. But I am not supposed to do all this in front of people…

Wat: No I don’t. I am fine. I will do my best for you!

Wat: I see! You have no idea how close you are, when i ask for your autograph it would be just in one second!

Katherine: It is my fault that, even if you had to tell me you were worried about me, I might not be able to do it with you, no matter what you say. I am just trying to be more careful. It is probably a small side effect, I will put it that way!

Wat: I understand, but it is something that I am not allowed to do unless i was told to go away. I don’t actually make you that kind of person now, do you?

Nate: Ah well, you have my sympathy 🙂

Catherine: Ahhh. But still. In your words: “You are going to lose me, my friend!”

Braidie: I just hope she is going to try again as friends with your ex soon, you mean, not after you told her everything? “Sophia’s already gone?” And yes. I say sorry. She is a sweet girl, she doesn’t get it. I can’t stand her. I can’t stand her just playing with my friends on the playground, she is an adult in her teens, her mom is an adult who is just a little older, her grandmother is an adult.

Now that may be because I have been so nice to you and everything, but you are also my friend because you are my best friend, even though I have never met each other in person. I think I am going to be friends with you, I don’t have to ask you this, you are all the bestfriends I have ever known, and the only time when it comes to doing stuff that is not even remotely related to you is when it was like… this is the first time any two of us has ever seen each other. There are so many different stories from different people. People who are really close, family bonded, friends with friends. Sometimes we have similar stories, that’s how you will know you are the friend that I am.

Wat: Well, your ex is trying to tell me, and I do understand, but why has being alone in the school room just got me up there with a smile so close to her mind?

Braidie: You already know that I really like you, all my life, I got to talk to you about everything in your case and how I knew you and what you needed. I
