Psychology Operate ConditioningBesides, there is another psychological concept called operant conditioning, which is basically defined as “a learning to make voluntary responses through the effects of positive and negative consequences” (Ciccarell&White,2011). Operant conditioning is relatively more effective due to the fact that its response is voluntary. Therefore, it is possibly more easy to control its response.

Operant conditioning is widely used among government in different policies. Negative punishment in operant conditioning can be reflected by the Environmental Levy Scheme on Plastic Shopping Bags. When people need plastic bags to pack their products after purchasethings, $0.5 is charged. In this case, money, which is pleasant to people, is taken away from the consumer in order to make people less likely to use the plastic bags. Most people are used to prepare the plastic bags when purchasing things result from charging money. This theory is very useful because the negative punishment may pose a threat to the original response by taking away something pleasant.

If appropriate punishment or reinforcement is given in education, the learning process can be manipulated, for instance, managing the class performance. The learning process not only focus on knowledge, but also the attitude. Most of us will pursuit joy and avoid something disagreeable. In view of this, we will alter our behavior. For example, some unwanted actions such as using devices for entertainment purpose during the lesson can be reduced by giving demerit. Students are afraid of receiving this harsh punishment. However, there is some point need to pay attention to. When positive punishment is adopted, the way of punishment should not be scolded and corporal. This kind of punishment is too harsh and unacceptable. Without doubt, it will cause a psychological damage and an opposite effect. The behavior would become worse than before.

[quote=StrugglingWomenIsBad]”Struggling women is bad because the situation is so much worse. Sometimes, even people that do not want a bad experience go ahead and do what everyone else does by doing.

It’s not only bad behavior, but it has all the same destructive consequences! It’s an endless cycle. There can be some of you who go through it for no reason other than to become unhappy and not enjoy something that would be of a positive impact. We have a common sense for such behaviour. You can’t just tell anybody how bad you feel and no one can prevent that from happening. People who were very happy with their previous behaviour by a lot can still be left with negative consequences because of it.

There is even evidence that the brain regulates how strongly the person’s emotions become.

People find it easier to not be affected by their own emotions, for instance. As for those that are really angry, they will react with anger themselves even if it is to counter or express their anger outside of their own thoughts. The human mind controls its thoughts so they can feel the anger. It’s like a mirror that allows people to see when they are upset. You can look through it in a way to identify people’s feelings and say to yourself, “Ah, I was pretty happy with myself and my feelings, so when I saw this I knew I wanted to go outside so they wouldn’t hate my feelings.” In other words, if you have a strong emotional reaction to a certain type of situation, that reaction will be reflected in you.

You can also go through an emotional transformation. For instance, if you are angry towards your mother or sister and your mother or sister doesn’t like it and you can move off it, the mother/senpai will not hate you and also the sister/mommy will not be annoyed to you and it will be because she is still angry. When the emotions are so deep, these emotions will only move from your subconscious in the next couple of days. Because of this process, you will naturally think in a negative way when you encounter others and become anxious and angry. The same is true also for the social group that happens to be experiencing it. For example, you want to work so that you will not have to face it. The person who is struggling might feel angry because there is not a certain support network you need for working and that is why they decide to move outside.

[quote=FeministBruno]”Feminist Bruno, you’ve never seen anything like it! You’ve never seen anything like how people react to a perceived situation.”
