English
magine a world which people always act reasonably instead of emotionally. To act reasonably is to have sound judgment, and to act with emotion is to have a natural instinctive state of mind deriving from ones circumstances, mood, or relationships with others. If everyone always acted reasonably people would not be as connected to others as they are today. Decisions would be made with a single thought process, “did they act in a pleasant or hateful manner?” If no emotion went into making choices or decisions you would not be able to feel how it has affected you. Therefore it could keep leading you in the wrong direction. Seeing what yourself and others have gone through and being able to overcome those obstacles it not only makes you stronger, but it also makes you understand why some people do the things they do.

Some professions make people think reasonably instead of emotionally such as a doctor, and a policeman. They need to think logically and be honest in their line of work or they could let their emotions get the best of them. In their profession becoming too emotional could get in the way of them making the proper diagnosis or decision. On the other hand, teachers, guidance counselors, therapists, and people who work with the elderly all have the same goal, and that is to want their patient or student to achieve their greatest self possible. The world would be a horrible place to live on if there were no emotion at all. After all, emotions are what make us human.
