Natural Disasters and Man Made Disasters
Natural Disasters:
Natural Disasters occur naturally in nature, for example, Cyclones and Tsunamis. A natural disaster is a flood caused by rain, a fire started by lightning, or a gale-force wind over which man has no control, An erupting volcano, a tsunami or a mud slide are natural disasters.

A natural disaster is one that is totally unavoidable, lasts for the shortest of times except for hurricanes which can take a few hours in passing through a region and leaves less blame to go around.

Man-Made Disasters:
Human Made disasters are like Fires that have started by arsonists. A man-made disaster is a flood left by carelessly running water, a fire set by man (arson) or a house caving in when a man carelessly runs into the house with his car. The man-made are totally avoidable from beginning to end, last much more than ever imagined and leave a long trail of blame to be shared.

Ethical issue:
If any disaster has trans-boundary effects i.e; direct effect on the neighboring countries or regions then it is an ethical issue.
Example of Natural disaster:
The 2010 Haiti earthquake was a catastrophic magnitude 7.0 Mw earthquake, with an epicentre near the town of Léogâne, approximately 25 km (16 miles) west of Port-au-Prince, Haitis capital. The earthquake occurred on Tuesday, 12 January 2010.

By 24 January, at least 52 aftershocks measuring 4.5 or greater had been recorded. An estimated three million people were affected by the quake; the Haitian government reported that an estimated 316,000 people had died, 300,000 had been injured and 1,000,000 made homeless. The death toll has also been suggested to be much lower at somewhere between 92,000 and 220,000, with around 1.5 million to 1.8 million homeless. The government of Haiti also estimated that 250,000 residences and 30,000 commercial buildings had collapsed or were severely damaged.
