The study shows that managers identified and evaluated the business environment through the use of techniques such as PESTEL analysis, SWOT analysis, Porters 5 forces, BCG matrix and Industry analysis. The identification was achieved through  use of the research and development team, budget controls, monthly reviews, performance indicators, quartly reviews, observations and media.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                  In the study kevro management showed how it responded to the global business environment. The management showed their abilities through use of such techniques like environmental scanning and VUCA management principles .The author then highlighted ways in which new managers in Namibia can develop such abilities to respond to the global business environment.2.0  BackgroundKevro is a firm which specializes in offering a variety of canvasses and solutions that support and build brands. Kevro is inspired by the dynamic environment it operates in, therefore creativity and innovation helps create memorable products. Kevro owns a number of well-known brands in South Africa and Namibia which include the industry flagship and Barron. The vision being that every brand should have a unique story to tell tailored with the right canvas and the right message. Barron helps those brands tell their story in the most effective way.
