Personal Response
Student’s NameProfessorCourseDatePersonal responseGeorge thinks that him, Sam and Rameck were brought together for a purpose. George and Rameck met during the seventh grade, and its then they realized that they had same interests in things. After some time, Sam got involved in drugs where he had to fight with his new friends to prove his loyalty. George and Rameck and Sam have been through a lot in life but all in all they have made it tough times. Now they are going to college together and becoming somebody. They have a long way to go, but they have got each others back. Rameck and Sam liked taking beer but never at any time pushed George to make it. A friendship like this a very healthy one. They have each others back and helping each other through the hard times. They never influence each other to bad company. They all have a personal life to live and always there for each other. George is my favorite character since he is always there for his friend. He is also confident in himself and not moved by any of his buddies. George and Sam have got a similarity in that I never let my friends walk in the dark alone. Sam always give a hand to their troubles and go through it together. At times, I am influenced by my friends to doing the wrong and get involved in their activities due to some hard times that I am not able to get through. Rameck and his neighborhood friends always getting into fights with people whom they had a beef with and when the other kids brought their older brothers, they would flee and hope into a bus. The other children also gave a chase. Rameck and his friends had to pay bus fare, and the driver had no change, and they had to leave it so as not to get into trouble with the older boys this happens to be my exciting part of the story. These books are good since it shows the foundation of friendship, how to always be there for your friends. Despite the fact that the boys liked getting into trouble, they demonstrate the worthiness of having a genuine and strong friendship.
