The demand for these specialties can come from a multitude of influences. These influences include economic, government, and legal. There are five particular businesses that were established due to the influences talked about earlier. I will talk about each of these businesses, what key economic, government, and legal influences impacted each of the businesses, and my opinion on which company influences had the greatest impact on them.
Huffman TruckingHuffman trucking is a national transportation company and has approximately 1,400 employees working in 4 locations spanning from Los Angles, California to Bayonne, New Jersey with the main maintenance facility on Cleveland, Ohio. The key economic influence for Huffman is the increase in yearly revenues and customers. The government influence is during World War II, there was a high “demand for carrier services between the factories of the mid-west and from the factories to the port on the East Coast” (2008). H. Huffman, the founder of Huffman Trucking, increased the size of his company to 16 tractors and 36 trailers due to the US Government thus creating a business relationship that exists to this day. The legal influence is primarily to review the multiple types of contracts to include lease, purchase, and shipping.
Kudler Fine Foods“Kudler Fine Foods is a local upscale specialty food store located in the San Diego metropolitan area. The company has three locations (La Jolla, Del Mar and Encinitas). Each store has approximately 16,000 s.f. of retail space located in a fashionable shopping center” (2008). The key economic influence for Kudler is to create a one stop food shop for gourmet cooking so customers wouldn’t have to go from one side of town to another to find everything needed to cook their meal. Other key economic influences include expanding services, a frequent shopper program, which will increase revenue, and an increase in efficiency. Kudler’s legal influence is to have attorneys for customer accidents, taxes, and leases. As far as government influences, there aren’t any.

The Sustainability Network is an organization of farmers and people working together to clean up and restore the world’s rivers, lakes, freshwater, and streams.
Kudler is an all-natural organization that works to restore the environment and the Earth’s food supply. Kudler relies heavily on food and agriculture (see below). This creates our best-in-class sustainable food production system.
This program provides opportunities for the members of Kudlers’ own small food pantries who do not wish to become part of the Kudler Family. Through this program and the generous support made to Kudlers’ small producers through the Kudler Community Fund, Kudler creates a local farming and food pantry that serves hungry people who can support themselves with food for free and nutritious meals.
The community of Kudlers is composed of three main groups:
Kudler Food Pantry
The first group is our current partner, Kudler’s Food Pantry. Members of this group are working hard with all Kudlers to help meet food needs and to help the community prepare for food. This first group was created in 2008 to provide assistance to poor children. In 2012, people from the second group contributed to food pantries to pay for meals. Kudler’s Food Pantry members will be providing food for the first day of a month in April so that they can get a sense about what is available through the new “Kudler Food Pantry”. Through this program, Kudler members have more than $10,000 in community support to help provide meals for those who need them and to help provide food to all Kudlers when they need them.
The second group comprises “All Sustainability Organizations,” or ALO; a group of groups that do not include a commercial food business. We are here to encourage them to do what is right for the community and the people of this region. We invite them to participate in the Kudler Food Pantry program and the Community Pantry to help feed and support poor people in this region. Each person is selected based on their needs and background.
