Malaysian Microchip – Rfid Product
1) MM Chip (RFID Product)
MM Chip actually stands for the Malaysian Microchip. It is a widely used in the Radio Frequency Identification Device (RFID) project. This chip is very tiny and has size about (0.7mm X 0.7mm X 0.07mm). The production purpose is to act as a solution for the global customer demands for the several of product. This intelligent chip has the receiver and transmitter device to enable it to function on its own. Radio-frequency identification (RFID) is a technology that uses radio waves to transfer data from an electronic tag, called RFID tag or label, attached to an object, through a reader for the purpose of identifying and tracking the object. Some RFID tags can be read from several meters away and beyond the line of sight of the reader. The application of bulk reading enables an almost-parallel reading of tags

MM chip used for a broad range of applications from fighting forgery to killing cancer cells and also replacement for barcode tags in retail goods for differentiating between genuine and counterfeit currency notes and use in passports. The Healthcare industry has used RFID to reduce counting, looking for things and auditing items. On Chip Antenna(OCA) technology gives a non-conventional new solution to the customer and have been applied to MM chip for all the types of MM chip, but it may also depends on the types and function of the chip, from MM1, MM2 to MM3.

There are various advantages of OCA technology, the best one is, it have a micro size and easily implemented to all sort of thing and connect it to the network. It will help us to tracking and monitor the movement of our daily product such as electrical goods, communication devices, apparels, livestock and many more. Now days, this technology has growing fast and likely to be implemented for the security reason on the paper. For example, it can be found in the use of RFID on cash notes, cheque, certificate, high profile document and many more, all sort of this technology is not impossible because the OCA technology always reduce the gap of the chip and the antenna, apart from that, the price also become lower because of the technology competition and mass production.

The performance of the chip also may be increase by implementing the antenna booster and make it more efficient, precise and easily to read in longer distance.

There are 3 types of MM chip that have been produced, the first model is MM1. The MM1 is a passive type and offer multiband function. It also can operate on a wide range of frequency intimately 10MHz to 2.5GHz, memory capacity of 1k bits, use exclusive MM1 R/W and usually apply in the use of room access control, paper level tag and item level tag.

Next is MM2 that created with improvement on the security portion from the MM1, this RFID system chip use an algorithm
