“Mitt Romney”
“American workers and businesses have unparalleled strengths. If we open new markets to what they produce and ensure that they are treated fairly, we can foster an environment for rapid economic growth and job creation.” (1) Romney wants to produce more jobs by opening up the markets, I feel that it is a good idea due to the shape the economy is in. Expanding free trade will help our economy grow and reduce the unemployment rate. He also vowed to make it easier to drill oil in the United States. That will make gas prices go down due to the supply and demand. He has also pledged to defend Israel, which by doing so will keep it stable.

Mitt Romney is a business man and realizes that lower taxes will let people decide how to spend their money, which will help keep businesses open. He wants to push for a redesign of our tax system. He also wants to eliminate the death tax, also known as an estate tax. It taxes the same income over and over again. “The best course in the near term is to overhaul and to dramatically simplify the current tax code, eliminate taxes on savings for the middle class, and recognize that because we tax investment at both the corporate and individual level, we should align our combined rates with those of competing nations. Lower taxes and a simpler tax code will help families and create jobs” (1)

“Romney was a good state officer for Maschettutes. He has proven he can work with a wide variety of people to get things done. He is a family man and can be trusted.” (2) Romneys pro-jobs, pro-market, pro-american stance should help increase the voters who are in need of a change. I believe by reading his issues and where he stands, if elected, we should be able to count on him to create more jobs and better the economy doing so.
