Living Systems Theory is a common speculation regarding how all living systems work, about how they keep up themselves and how they expand and transform. “Living systems are open, self-organizing systems that have the special characteristics of life and interact with their environment. This takes place by means of information and material-energy exchanges (Parent, 1996).” Living systems are able to keep up their vigorous state since they are open, self-organizing systems that are capable of taking in from the environment the inputs of information and material-energy they require.

The Armed Forces is comprised of a multifaceted militarily oriented socio-economic organization, working as part of the national economy. It is not viable to improve the usefulness of this organization without identifying its inner devices. An Armed Forces unit is a fundamental structure of military labor teamwork. Study of labor teamwork–a necessary unique attribute of its organization–is vital to understanding the fundamental nature of the military unit.

Because of cooperation in the Armed Forces, military sub-units, units, and combined units are able to generate a “comprehensive combatant” and to a certain degree, it is ubiquitous. These attributes are very important to military movement. In addition, it is imperative that cooperation aid in expanding the spatial range of labor. It allows huge quantities of labor to be useful in a restricted space. This asset of cooperation, in actuality, underlies buildup as a belief of combined-arms operations. Another significant benefit of cooperation is that it makes it possible for troops to strengthen their labors at dangerous instances of military combat action, coming up from the inherently conflict-based environment of combat. In such instances, huge numbers of Armed Forces are gathered within a small time period. Cooperative labor consists of interface between human work forces in a particular area and also combined use of military-technical resources. Weapons turn up an enormous amount of labor, which is saved, credited to the combined use of military hardware and equipment.

The particulars of military labor bring about the conclusion that military movement is portrayed by solid and unwavering patterns and regularities, which in requisites of economic theory are recognized as the regulation of division and cooperation of labor. Every military commander is also considered the organizer of their units activities to a certain extent. Therefore, they should have a clear comprehension of the real meaning of this law as well as the ethics of its purpose in the interest of improving the usefulness of action by workers in performing tasks assigned to them during peacetime and wartime.

The military unit is capable of conducting typical daily routine tasks, training personnel efficiently, and also performing combat tasks. The unit has the necessary reliant of military troops and a suitable mix of military specialty jobs to perform a broad range of procedural tasks. It has a fitting logistical foundation and weapon systems. It is fully operational and relies on a well-organized command and control staff in systematize daily routine activities and conducting of combat operations. It is completely covered and regulated by regulations and policies and procedures for the military. In speculative provisions, the military unit makes sure that it has full and complete understanding of its servicemen as a personality, also making sure to increase the military workforce by recruiting more people. This is the main factor of military activity.

Some problems that the military unit may face consist of troops disobeying rules and regulations and some troops either not re-enlisting or being discharged because they are unable to adapt to the ways of the military. When troops disobey rules and regulations they are punished in accordance with the Uniformed Code of Military Justice (UCMJ). When troops decide that they do not want to re-enlist, it causes the military to recruit more personnel and go through the cycle again.

In order to have a successful organization, the military unit has to tap into all levers of improving military labor effectiveness and preserving live and personified labor. They have to continue to upgrade logistic and technical levels of equipment within the military. Other things that depend on the success of the organization are enhancement of qualifications of military troops and associated civilian personnel, elevating economic attentiveness of personnel, attaining unity and teamwork of the unit and also tapping into
