This assignment will be to create and oral report on a project failure. You will deliver a 8-10 minute oral report to class with at least 3 outside sources are required. You will team up with a partner, so you are BOTH expected to speak roughly 50%.

You and your partner are a project managers reviewing a problem project; you will give a short overview of a project failure that you research and prepare an ANALYTICAL presentation to show what went wrong with this project, and how you would fix this problem

You and your partner need to find a well documented project that failed. You will do some basic research and learn as much about the project as possible. You will then deliver your presentation to class on WEEK 6.

In the presentation, you will do FOUR things:
Describe the project, (20%)
Outline the failure, (20%)
List the problems, (30%)
ANALYZE and tell me what you would have done different. (40%)
(The amount in percentages represent the amount of time you should spend on each topic, do NOT just tell me what happened, explain what when wrong and WHY it when wrong and HOW to fix the problem…be sure to be specific or you may lose points!))

This is due Week 6, and you will discuss your presentation in a round table in class. In addition to the presentation, PREPARE a ONE PAGE synopsis (have about 6 copies to hand out to your team) and be prepared to discuss your project failure in detail. In groups, you will give a 3-5 minutes overview of this project, a synopsis of WHY this project failed and what SHOULD have been done to fix this problem. You will then report back to the entire class your groups findings

START EARLY on this PRESENTATION! Dont wait until the last minute!
Enjoy!
