This picture depicted the Messerschmitt Me109 flying in the Battle of Britain. Since then I always wanted to know more about the Messerschmitt that hung on my wall. I knew that the Messerschmitt Me109 was a German plane that flew in World War II. When I learned about the 1999 History Day projects theme, I was immediately inspired by the picture on my wall.
The topic I chose relates to the 1999 History Day theme because the Messerschmitt airplanes were designed and created by another country and had an amazing effect on the world. Just like the microscopes and telescopes imapct on science and astronomy, the Messerschmitt was produced by the Germans and effected the world by changing combat aircraft designs. It provided the world with the first fighter jet and rocket-propelled aircraft.
In order to collect research for the project, I went online to look for web sites and articles that told about Messerschmitt planes. To my surprise, there were many sites dedicated to these aircraft. Most of the sites I found focused primarily on one model of the plane so I had to search further to find other information about the Messerschmitt models included in my project. Once I found them, I began to research songs from that era to incorporate into my project. In order to get pictures, I went to all types of aircaft sites, found what I liked and saved them. While searching other sites, I located a Bf109 movie. I sent an email to the webmaster of that site in hopes that he would provide me with the video. As it turns out, the mans name was Matt McBole, and he is an avid Messerschmitt aircraft expert. Matts movie clip
The Messerschmitt Superfighter is more like a real-life model than a reality-based airplane. It was designed solely on the Web and was delivered to museums, the General Staff, and civilian pilots. For me, it truly was the best thing for the people who were willing to pay for it, without even realizing it. And I’m sure other Messerschmitt models came from other eras, including its first-generation FUJ, the VJ-3, and the original Messerskmitt fighters that were delivered to our world in the 1960s and 1970s.
Many people in the military, airmen, and airman’s groups and organizations are involved in the use of modern Messermitt Superfighters. For example, in the 1950s, the VJ-2 Superfighter’s name was changed to “Super-Wagon”, or “Super-G” and now the Super-Wagon is still used. I do like the name “G” though and it’s a fitting name for the FUJ, which is also used to denote both a regular and modified Messermitt fighter. Some people will have never heard of Messerschmitt Superfighters, but I feel very strongly that they are more than deserving.
When people hear what I’ve learned about modern Messerschmitt Superfighters and their engines, I always see stories of Messerschmitt fighters of the 1950s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, etc. who took it on their maiden missions and then turned them into actual planes and flew around in their Super Hornets. Some of the Messerschmitt fighters were first used in an F-16 during their second and third generation when they received their own superjet. Most of them have been used for over fifty years or more, but when people see all the stories about the Messerschmitt F-X in aviation magazines like the Jetman, or the New York Times, they have just read the original reports and started looking for some more Messerschmitt Superfighters.
The Super Hornets are of course a bit different from the Messerschmitt F-14, but not too different. The F-15 (actually the F-35) and the F-35C are two big jets and can use up tons of fuel. It’s not like the Messerschmitt F-18 could fly this type of jet and it would probably take a while to become capable in the air enough to get some serious power off ground. That said, the Messerschmitt F-15 is much less powerful and has been in production for a long time, so it definitely took some time for the F-15 to become a much more powerful jet. The Messerschmitt F-14 was just one of the Messerschmitt fighter jet’s first engines to be powered. In the 1960s it was more common with the F-18 that’s the first plane to use it. In many ways, today’s Messerschmitt F-14 looks and feels like an extremely powerful super jet if you’re not careful. It has a long, sleek fu
