Our hip-hop culture has expanded over the years. Its pants style have changed from balloon pants that make you look like you were going to rise in the air, to pants that look like they are going to sweep the floor. The fashion trend continues to change. MC Hammer, Lady Gaga, and Miley Cyress are a few examples but society is eager to judge.
Back when MC was singing, his pants were the fashion trend. That was the style- giant balloon pants. I guess back then, you were only cool if you wore what was in style. If you did wear these clothes, people assumed you were a “Hip-hop punk”. But thats not always true. Maybe you were just wearing them because they were easy to dance in.
Lady Gaga Is a completely different story. I mean, who wears an outfit created out of a slab of meat? I bet most people think she is clinically insane. I do. She comes up with the craziest outfits, but she is probably a pretty normal person. I believe she just expresses herself through her style, yet it is an odd one.
If you want a cool and casual style, I would take a look at Miley Cyress. She hardly ever wears anything insane. She is not projected by what she wears, just by what she says and does. The real her. I am similar to that. I dont want to be judged by what I wear.
If people took the time to actually get to know someone, maybe we wouldnt have “labels”. Its horrible that people think they know who you are and what kind of person you are, by what you wear on the outside. The person you are is on the inside. Dont judge a book by its cover.
