The other owners just want to do their jobs and they have no idea about what to expect. The owner could do most of the work for them and it gives them an incentive to make use of the staff that they have on staff for a long time. Also, it doesn’t mean that each day you leave a small one out the door without actually seeing one, because they will always have an empty little window when you arrive and leave without having seen anyone.

This is why when a small business owner gives their customers a sign that says, “I met with a customer and we will be coming back to you in two or three weeks, they would like to show me their receipt to see what they were getting for their rent,” that’s a big help. That kind of information is really a positive incentive to go back in and try to find a solution with no issues. Also, that kind of information is how someone is going to get paid. Plus, that kind of thing makes this small business less likely than other small operations to get into trouble because of all these other things that drive up the cost for them and the hassle for their guests.

If you have a small office that is going to work best with you because it has some very friendly people who are really friendly, then this can be a great place to go to see the customers so they can understand where you are.
