My college experience has been interesting to say the least. I have done everything that I can think to do in college and I have had a blast. However, the one thing that eluded me for so long is that I could not figure out what I wanted to do with my life after I graduate. Im a marketing major that doesnt really like business and I dont want to do that for the rest of my life. This past year came with a lot of changes and I realized that I was going down a road that I did want to go down. So I sat down and thought about what I really want to do and what I love to do. After a while I realized that I love movies. Therefore, I started doing research and I started asking around about how to become successful in the movie industry. Then I figured that I needed some experience before I can go work for someone. Once again, my marketing major hurt me because marketing has nothing to do with cinematography. However, Im a determined person who doesnt take no for an answer. After I asked around, some friends advised me to take some classes on television production and try to intern at Fox 31 or WALB. So I did both. Now, Im interning at Fox 31.

“This is an unpaid internship, and it is from 5am-9am every morning, Monday through Friday. Are you interested?” My first reaction to this offer was to say “HECK NO!” An unpaid internship from 5am to 9am does not sound like any fun to me. However, I still needed the experience so I took it because it is all I have. It is my first step on a long journey to achieving my dreams. Im glad I signed up. This has been one of the best experiences ever. My internship gives me a wealth of knowledge that I couldnt have obtained from simply reading books or having a teacher
