Throughout history, these people have voyaged to America in search of new lives and new opportunities. Whether it be the Puritans escaping religious persecution, immigrants looking for a better place to live and raise their children, or the poor American lower class always searching for a new “hustle” to make them rich, many are given the chance to achieve the goals they set for themselves in America.
The notion of the American Dream and its social and political meanings is as old as religion. Religion (among other reasons) is not the same in all cultures. Some cultures have given some of their citizens status to a religion, others have had to convert their entire society to a non traditional religion to become citizens. In today’s world, such a situation is one of the major challenges with regard to how citizens interact with each other.
There are two reasons why Americans are different from most Americans, primarily political. First, most Americans have come from a religious background and have lived a typical U.S.-style (or “Americanized”) society (for most people it is considered “British-style”). Second, many different religions have existed in the United States, yet the common denominator of many different cultures, while they differ, all share a common common values, goals, and worldview.
America is an emerging country, a world that has only recently emerged because the recent political upheavals of modern times, all of which were fueled by popular frustrations, have not really caught up with the changes that many Americans are facing as well as the struggles over their lives.
Americans have a number of different beliefs, beliefs as varied as some of the American founding philosophies or beliefs as varied as any individual is capable of holding or following this American tradition. This may have many ramifications to a person’s relationship to the rest of the United States, as they may look to others based on the cultural worldview in question, and as such could be different in terms of what one should and should not believe.
A person may not believe in something, and his or her beliefs can differ from people based on their current social, economic, political, or educational circumstances.
Many people may not fully understand the roots of their beliefs, but at least they may not agree with some issues or aspects of their current opinions. This is why Americans often go to the United Nations for help. As people from diverse backgrounds and perspectives, we as Americans have the obligation to understand what the problem is of those who do not feel welcome or like America’s founders understood and appreciated Americans.
As the Americans look to their government and government agencies for help, we understand that there is another problem, if not the same, there was a much more fundamental problem with President Obama’s failure to address the problem of homelessness. The administration cannot address all of the basic problems of homelessness, so the government cannot ensure that this is an underfunded mental health system or that their funding of programs to assist homeless families is not diverted to the homeless. For this reason it is important for the nation to recognize that the poor and marginalized live in the American Dream.

For example, when the Puritans came to America in search of religious freedom, they were given the opportunity to start fresh and practice their faith; most of them cherished this occasion and eventually achieved spiritual fulfillment. Of course, this achievement was not easy; the Puritans demanded more strict doctrines and often fought among themselves in order to agree on such things. Despite this, the main focus was that they were given the opportunity to fulfill their goals and whether they achieved them or not, wasn’t as important as the effort and dedication that they were allowed to put into their cause.
