The main ideas used in this article are description/support, cause/effects, time/sequence and opinion/reason. The description/support idea in summary describes the qualities and characteristics of the internet as a tool of plagiarism, how you can use the internet to perform many searches on almost anything, like genetics, astronomy, medicine, pornography, how it is used by students to purchase sample papers for their essay etc. she also compares the good part of the internet and the bad part of it. Her idea on cause and effect reflects on how students have been given too much exposure and ability to perform plagiarism even though it existed long before the technology of world wide web, she believes the government caused all these by using taxpayers money to bring so much technology into schools and giving students the opportunity to depend solely on the internet without making an effort to read and reflect on their reading. Her idea on time/sequence draws her back to when she used to use the manual and electric typewriters to type and now she has the magical pc that enables her to do wonders. Her idea on opinion/reason, reflects on how upset she is by the power of internet surfing that does not allow students to bring out the ability and talents in them but otherwise enables them to depend on someone elses brain and thinking, she feels this would not help the students become who they ought to be by learning and thinking for them selves, she also feels the students should not be blamed for their actions but those who provided this opportunity for them should be blamed.

Authors conclusion; I believe cut-and-paste plagiarism is no way to learn.
Authors reason; plagiarism does not allow students to read and reflect on their reading
Plagiarism does not allow students to write thoughtfully with precisions
