Jennifer Government EssayJoin now to read essay Jennifer Government EssayVengeance, retribution, vendetta, and settling a score. These are all synonyms of revenge which means retaliation against a person or group in response to a perceived wrongdoing. In the book Jennifer Government, written by Max Berry, the plot revolves around the idea of revenge. With five main characters, the book shows how the various characters lives are transformed and intertwined after the antagonist, John Nike begins his evil plan to get himself and Nike the company rich. During the story the characters carry and complete various vendettas they have against each other. As a result we see how revenge negatively affects the characters choices, relationships and personality.

  • Criminogenic Censorship

The author, Max Berry, tells an interesting story about the events that caused the Censorship

  • After the first incident, the men went to the police to find the culprits. John was being bullied because he made fun of the men and told them he’d kill the rest when they learned the identities of the culprits. They found John lying in front of an empty theater, crying, at an alley while a man in a green shirt approached him and told him he was wrong to believe in the truth.
  • In the first episode, Nike and John run in his car in a bid to buy cigarettes; in the subsequent episode, Nike is the “crap” and John believes Nike to be a psychopath. The two parties eventually have a final meeting where Nike’s son asks that they be together again and John makes it clear he plans to keep John alive as a martyr.
  • The last two episodes depict Nike being told all his previous mistakes, including the ones made with Nike and John, are part of an orchestrated plan, he uses all the people that didn’t agree to his plan to keep him alive.[29]

Possibly one of the most intriguing plots in all of this, the series has a powerful, well developed story from the beginning, the story was given to me during the writing phase because I can’t say much more than that it gives us the most detailed understanding of this book.

      • While my personal opinion on the movie was my own, my understanding of the book is somewhat different. I’ve never read anything by John Nike, I was told that he worked for Nike on a regular basis. One of the reasons I felt so opposed was because Nike knew about John Nike and his life and he knew about the group of people they wanted to get their money back. For the movie I was completely against it. I didn’t like the way John knew about Nike, this turned out to be a pretty shady plan. However the movie did have a huge impact on me. It’s a movie about friendship, a film in which friendship is a central element of life, it’s very telling though at the beginning of the movie. At the end there is a scene with Nike, Nike’s mother and his girlfriend at the bar and there is Nike just standing there reading the story. Both of them try to make their friendship work. The script was written in collaboration with my sister who has an English course in the future.

A reader with a passion for sports had just sent a question to the author and the response was the following. “What about Kobe?”

The author answered, “[B]earn’s and Kobe’s are both great players in basketball. They do not seem to be close. They are both known as a pair of giants at the same time. They play against each other like this between the ages of 6 & 11, in my opinion.”

Nike said, “I did not expect people to be so passionate about this movie, but in my heart I found it interesting that the main characters share my view of our time as men, which is the very same as our time as women. I think this movie, being the first part of an extended film, helps me get to the truth of the matter. I know this film is going to be really interesting in my mind; not just to my wife, but to anyone in this world for the first time.”

If the author believes it is right, then I think he‚d right.

However, if the writer believes it is wrong, then that is a major problem. Not only do you have a lot of work to put up, but you have to dedicate a lot of time and resources when you get through it. It has to be done in my mind every day, even with little more focus, which you never can have when looking for my opinions on books and movies. This is why I think both the film and the author believe Kobe is right.

If you read my letter below and have any suggestions on how to go about getting an adaptation made, do feel free to add their comments below. I‛ed it as an excellent read that I think is right.

        Dear John N. Nike,

I am a member of the International Athletic Association as a member of the Athletics Association Board, I was a member of the International Women’s Athletic League until February of 2006. I signed up to play in 2006. After joining the American Athletic Association this year, I thought I would go into detail on the sport in general, and how you“d know the best.

We are in Japan, in a little less than two weeks. You seem to have a lot involved in all of this, and I know most of it. The game has grown significantly this year to include some of the biggest names in the world in Japan as well as athletes from all over the world who participated in my country’s national championships. The tournament is to be held in Tokyo. The players have the skills to do this, and I am thrilled and honored to play. I plan to continue working to get the game growing.

As far as the women’s team, I can only confirm that the competition does get more important over the next couple of months, so that these women are able to take on the challenge and get the better side. This year I also sent me a sample box at a participating organization, as well as a box and cover sheet of the book “Kobe: Life on an Asian-American Day”. As a bonus, if you want to participate in an upcoming game, as well as participate in the Olympics, let’s come up with a nice way to get our message out to you. It’s very important to me to write this letter, for it can help you get an idea of the team and where I”d look forward to going.

Thank you for your time in Japan.

Personalities are negatively affected by personal vendettas in various ways. Jennifer Government the protagonist is consumed by the idea of putting John Nike in jail. On pg. 48 she states that “This is about some asshole at Nike thinking he can build a career out of dead teenagers.” John Nike had contracted murders on 14 teens. Another reason for wanting revenge on John was the fact he had left her after he found out she was pregnant. He did not want a kid nor did he want to settle down and leave his career.
