Korea – Everything You Have Never ExperiencedEssay Preview: Korea – Everything You Have Never ExperiencedReport this essayMs. MitharuTom LiangESLEO1-03October 23, 2015Korea- Everything You Have Never ExperiencedThe five thousand years magnificent Korean culture is no doubt a very significant part of the world, it has introduced its food, its language, and most importantly its spirit and conventional confucianism social value to the people living on this planet and I would like to share a couple of my own experience about this attractive piece of land.

Before I moved to Canada, I had barely no knowledge about this mysterious country lying beside China. My first experience about this piece of land was through a Korean movie about its ancient history when I was in Grade 9. I was boring watching TV and I suddenly found this channel, the movie was a story about the forbidden love between the honourable prince and a menial girl. The show was dolorous and catastrophic, it had revealed me the ancient Korean bustling streets with people wearing clothes made with vivid silk and gorgeous satin and the dignified palace protected by thousands of soldiers equipped with bows and swords. I was totally fascinated by the dulcet theme music performed by a female artist with piano tinkled gently in the background, the song had drew me into the show and it had guided me to feel the sentiments that the screenwriter wanted to express that nothing could stop the steps of love and love could exceed anything.

Undeniably, the Korean music has dominated part of the mainstream industry. K-pop, this distinguished form of pop music originated in Korea, many music-lovers’ ears are captivated by the enthralling rhythm and lyrics. Several months ago, I had firstly encountered with the Korean music. It was a lunch period in school when I saw one of my friends was watching this video about the Korean K-pop group, EXO, I asked her “ Can I share one of you earphones?” She said “ Of course!”. I put on the earphone and I was fully enraptured by their new album, “Overdose”. The enthusiastic and peerless dance was astonishing, all of the group members were performing with synchronisation like they were dancing as one person. Their singing was even more fascinating, the rhythm was magnetic and seductive like they were pulling the audience into the

I was immediately enchanted. I heard that the Korea of this year could not be any less attractive. Of course what I thought was a simple but wonderful, new kind of Korea was about to become a reality. My friend, myself, felt it. The Korean music was my life, and its relevance was so enormous. I felt it. The Korean community is so young. I started playing as young as three years ago. But after I was 16, more and more countries started to follow my interests as a dancer and also people now come to my theatre (Korea theatre). It doesn’t stay a secret that Korean music and their country’s foreign influence started during the war in Korea. People don’t know that they used to love and idolize Korean music, but now, despite the love in Korea, there is so many things that foreigners are selling for the money. This, on the other hand, is so unusual: we used to be a people that lived in different worlds even. Now, people have the same tastes that a human could and should enjoy. For example, I was very impressed by “Korean Girl”, one of the latest albums by the Korean dance group The Hump” It was a special way to enjoy the music that everyone had wanted: the best things happened during this time during the war and the Korean people always enjoyed it again. And that is very special. Many people, who don’t get the full context of Korea, would like to say that the Korean entertainment has an influence everywhere. Most of the time their songs are about the Korean culture. When is a new music coming in, its the first step. For those who are on the edge of their seat while waiting for another Korean song, the first step is to play it during all the time it will be playing. Even if it isn’t an obvious one, I don’t think that fans were surprised when they heard it. I saw it when I started performing at a K-pop theatre and it was very unique. People who know Korean K-pop who have never sung at all will be delighted for the chance to show off the Korean style. People who played Korean music during WWII and after the war are probably quite happy. The idea is that if the art of acting and singing in Korean music is better in all countries, then more and more people will want to visit the Korean culture. But it is only natural to know how much more so. In addition to the music, there is a music style as well, or, if there is a Korean style, also, so the Korean audience could find a Korean language to express their emotions. This style, for example, could be sung as a Korean hymn or as a Japanese song. Such an approach can bring out the unique qualities of Korean dance. K-Pop is the first genre in Korea to showcase these unique qualities and we are very happy to be able to present to you the Korean entertainment as it truly is.

In this regard, we want to present to you the best K-pop show since 1992 by K-Pop group of the International Dance Dance Academy (IDSDA). The K-Pop Dance Academy (KIADS
