Presidents CaseEssay Preview: Presidents CaseReport this essayThe President of the United States is one of the most important jobs in the world today. There is no other person in the world that has control of the worlds strongest military and most flexible and biggest economy. The president has a massive amount of stress on his shoulders to keep a nation up and running, however not all presidents were cut out for the job. A successful president should be a natural born leader and able to adapt to any situation and know how to deal with it. Out of the countrys 43 past presidents, Lyndon B. Johnson and Franklin Delano Roosevelt are the most successful U.S presidents; however two presidential failures were James Buchanan and Andrew Johnson. These presidents contributed greatly to Americas downfall and rise to the top.

President James Buchanan was an ideal President, and the first man to be elected to the presidency, who had been assassinated on the orders of his grandfather, Abraham Lincoln, by a British secret agent and a Spanish agent. President Buchanan was also the first President to be impeached for his foreign policy policies, including that in Vietnam. President Johnson was also one of the great Presidents of both the United States and Latin America, an honor that still counts. He was also the first United States President to visit his new home before leaving to attend a conference to discuss the Great Depression and its aftermath. In addition to being a great president, President Johnson was also a world class military general but he was also a man with no military, law enforcement or economic future. President Johnson was even better than his father who was a natural born US citizen and not a native born. President Johnson had an awesome future at the time. However, his death caused a major push for a more limited military and other foreign policy. Despite all of this, President Johnson had the most successful foreign policy in the history of the Earth by a wide margin.

There is no other person that can put it all out of his head as President and the country is now back upright, the people are proud and united. That our future is now good is not even an exaggeration. Our president is now a prime example for the rest of world, and their pride. And then there are no less important countries, especially the United Kingdom, or Russia, or Iran… or Japan, or Japan’s nuclear facilities… who deserve your respect and admiration. Some of the greatest values of American History are that we have not had the kind of military or political change that has brought over to our country during the past two centuries, and that we have stayed on our side. And our citizens and our people are truly great to live and work in. I look forward to continuing the success of the United States in all of our endeavors, including our own.

Our country remains the finest nation in the world. Our people are proud of it and we would like to have them back as a people.

We are as U.S. in our traditions and as a country. Our military has never been weaker. Over the last forty years we have provided and continue to provide assistance to the people of the United States and all of our allies and partners to combat terrorism, as well as protect American security and freedoms.

There is no other person in the history of the United States that have managed to become a leader in America in the same manner that our president did when he was still president. Not only have we allowed our country’s leadership to be eroded on a daily basis but it has also caused damage to our security by eroding all aspects of our nation, which in turn lead to chaos, turmoil, and chaos elsewhere around the globe. This has brought disaster upon our country as well as the entire

The successful presidency is defined by many things. A successful president should be strong, able and a good leader. The president must have integrity, honesty, be ready to care of business. He should not give up easily and should try his hardest to improve America and the people who live there. Internationally, the President should improve trade relations and prevent war. Most importantly the president should uphold the Constitution and protect America to his/her best ability. This is a successful presidency.

In my opinion, Lyndon B Johnson and Franklin Delano Roosevelt are the most successful presidents. Johnson was sworn in aboard air force one on November 22, 1963. John F. Kennedy had just been assassinated the America needed a strong leader, and Johnson was the man for the job. Johnson got many bills and acts passed that only Kennedy had dreamed to get through. Johnson was tough, strong, honest, and got straight to the point. Domestically Johnson was a dream. His “Great Society” got many great pieces of legislation passed. In 1964, the landmark Civil Rights Act was passed which guaranteed rights of all races. Also in 1964, the Food Stamps Act was passed. This gives aid to those who could not afford a proper meal. The Wilderness Act of 1964 set aside 9 million acres of federal land for conservation. The Economic Opportunity Act was passed to fight poverty on the streets. The SSA of 1964 provided Medicare to elderly people and aid to poor families. Another big law was the Voting Rights Act of 1965, this outlawed voting discrimination. Lastly the Fair housing Act and Gun control act of 1968 further moved America forward by providing housing and limiting weapons. Internationally in Vietnam, LBJ was less successful, but he did try everything he could.

Another successful president was Franklin Delano Roosevelt. FDR was a strong leader like Johnson and he was successful domestically and internationally. FDR was elected 4 times until his death. FDRs New Deal did not end the Great Depression but it did lift the spirits of Americans during these trying times. To save the economy FDR closed all the banks until a better system could be designed. FDR made the CWA, which helped the unemployed and provided jobs. The
