Essay title: Science Organisation
science organisation
Local SURGERY
National NHS
International BOOTS
I am writing this essay regarding my coursework, which relates three organisations that use science in one way or the other. The local science organisation that I have selected is called “Medical centre”. It is located in Nottingham close to Lenton and Radford border line. So in order to get the information in depth I will be applying various methods and skills that are appropriate and accurate. I will also be making it a fair test because to get the best and excellent results I will make sure that my investigation is not bias.

There are so many different types of surgeries in Nottingham but not all of the surgeries provide most medical products, but yet they do help in person’s medical conditions. However some surgeries provide most essential medications with thorough patient examination. My local medical surgery provides ear aiding, psychological help, normal routine checks (treatment) etc, these all are quite important for our health.

There are numerous and fundamental services that are provided from these surgeries, which are very significant for our health and society, however some of these services provided from the local surgeries are listed below:

Home visits
Telephone advice
Prescriptions
Training
Medicines
Injections
Minor surgery
Physiotherapy service
Child health surveillance
Foreign travel
All of these products and services are very essential to our society but yet there are some things that we take for granted in our life and we can also visualize this by looking at children in third world countries such as Africa, Malawi and Ghana. Or even by imagining the absence of our local medical help such as our surgeries which are a part of our everyday life’s and an obligation for our health.
