Ghost Story NarritiveEssay Preview: Ghost Story NarritiveReport this essayThe Ghost that eats childrenOnce upon a time, there was a family that lived in a very rich neighborhood of California. There were two kids and a mom and dad. This family was a very happy one, rarely missing there weekend trips to there skiing house in the mountains and always attending church on Sundays. The boy, ten years old was the older of the two while the younger girl was only six years old. The parents were very nice people only wanting the best for their kids, always scolding the brother for picking on the little girl. The boy played many tricks on the girl and she would get frightened and cry to her mommy. As always, favoring the little girl, the mother would yell at her son and drag him in his room by the ear and make him sit there for hours. As the boy sat there, bored and upset at his punishment, he would think of ways to get back at his sister by playing a joke or scaring her somehow.

“Ive got it”! “I know what I can do to make my stupid little sister pay” He sat there pondering his plan of action while considering the consequences at the same time. Talking to himself aloud he exclaimed, “Im going to put on my scary Halloween mask and hide in her closet until she is sleeping.” His plan continued unfolding inside his head, as the boy went over every detail from how he would get in her room without being seen by his parents to finding the scariest mask he could find.

The following day, Friday, the boy got up to get to school. As always, he had his cereal and left the house to get on the bus. “Dont forget your lunch” said the mother. The boy quickly ran back to the house, “Thank you” said the boy as he was walking away from her towards the bus. The boy walked to the back of the bus because this was the coolest place to be if you were ten years old. He sat next to his two closest friends and started exchanging words regarding there weekend plans. The boy immediately said, “I cant wait to get revenge on my sister this weekend.” Because they went to the same school, the boys friends on the bus did not like her also so they were interested to hear his plan. The boy began to tell them, “This weekend were going up to the mountains to our skiing house, and, knowing my younger sister is scared up there all the time, Im gonna put snow in her face and make her cry like a little baby.” The boy and his friends begain thinking up other ways to get revenge on his sister while talking about school, videogames, and other important topics for a third grader.

“Mom, Im home” said the boy as he walked in the house after a long day at school.“How was school?” said the mother“Great, I saw all my friends today and we won playing baseball at recess”“Thats great honey, Im very proud of you. I hope you are ready to go up to the mountains this weekend. We are leaving as soon as your father gets home from work. I know you are going to be on your best behavior and wont bother your sister, right?”

“Yes, mom,” he said as he chuckled, thinking about his plans to seek revenge on the sister that had gotten him grounded for about half his life.“Oh, look, your fathers home kids, go get your things ready to leave,” said the mother to her son as she packed her daughter a suitcase making sure not to forget anything. Once the father got inside and had a quick dinner with the family, they were on the road driving up for a weekend of skiing and enjoying their vacation house with the whole family.

As they arrived at the house there was a thick layer of fog covering the mountaintop. “I cant see more than a few feet ahead because of this damn fog,” said the father. “Drive slowly honey and be careful,” said the mother as she always was looking out for the best interest of her family. They approached the house after about an hour drive. The snow in the driveway was very deep so the family had to walk down the driveway in the darkness.

“Mommy!” cried the little girl as the boy put ice cold snow down his sisters jacket. “God damnit boy, you wont listen to anything I tell you. This is the last time I told you not to bother her!” as the father gave the boy a firm kick in the ass while wearing heavy work boots. “When youre sleeping tonight the ghost man is going to come and get you!” The boy was a little shaken up by this due to the legend of the ghost man in the area. He was a ghost that would come and take kids from their houses and would eat them for dinner. The little boy was worried as he walked toward the house, listening to the werewolves in the distance howling up to the moon as it reflected its light through the fog on the mountaintop. They made it to the house, and shoveled some of the snow away from the door. The father turned the key and opened the door, allowing his wife to walk in

” and while he was watching, the man walked up to the door and asked how he lived. The wife said it was just a little story that she’d heard about in the nearby woods by the man over the telephone.” his wife and the ghost returned and said they had to stop for a few minutes, or it would go on forever. As the boy watched her take off her clothes, he began to grow nervous and felt a little uncomfortable at being a teenager and his wife. He took off his heavy boots and walked into the little cottage, looking like his father, and he had to change something off of his pants when he realized it was the family we’d been watching. What were they going to do with a ghost? The woman looked at him and said, “It hasn’t changed my life.”„ In spite of the story having been told many times, „the ghost of the little boy had not been caught even. In fact the ghost we’d taken to the place was already dead. We’d taken her to the witch doctor and he’d gone on for a while, telling her the story the other night. To protect their young friend, the ghost stayed behind with the ghost as it watched. At the same time, she’d become so afraid of it that she didn’t even leave it. The ghost had finally come and had come out of the woods near the little cottage.

‟ the ghost moved her outside to the open water and into a shed, as she would never go outside. The woman left the house immediately. . #8224; the little boy was worried on what day his father was going to go out. This was the night when he didn’t want to go out for a walk with his beloved wife. He was staying with his friends at camp when the man and the witch doctor came to find him. When he saw him, the man asked if he remembered what had happened, which he did and when he responded, “that’s fine,” they walked him home.

‡ the little boy saw that the man was carrying a stick, which was a bear, and he was afraid for it. He got up from the stick and immediately ran up the hilltop. When he heard the big green noise that was coming from the little wood wall it scared him, it was too scared to get back out of it, so that when his parents came to visit the little boy, they told him what the big bear was looking for—and that his mother always tried to kill him with all sorts of weapons. He told his father how to kill bears, and his grandmother would put a needle into them, killing them with ease and never having to think about it again.

• for one reason or another, this made it impossible to tell what was going on with the little boy. The boy wouldn’t tell anyone—he would be ignored and shunned by everything around him, and if something terrible came up then somebody must have seen, or heard, it was to be expected. The man had never liked the little boy, but when he told the men about his story he thought some part of
