Dear Mrs. Smith,
I wanted to tell you how amazing my time as an intern has been in Washington D.C. Im so happy that I finally got this opportunity! I took this internship so I could learn about our government from a different perspective. Instead of learning about government on the news and in articles I wanted more of an up close view. The thing that intrigues me the most is working with all of the experts because they have a bunch of great insight to offer.

The topics that Im am most excited to learn about are the ins and outs of the Supreme Court and the White House. The articles I read about them can be a bit dry and the news only shows you what they want you to see about them. Also many of the news articles do not go as in depth as I would like. I do not have any concerns at the time, but I was wondering if you had any questions or wanted any additional information on this internship. I really do appreciate all your help with making this great opportunity possible.

Sincerely,
