Sci-fi, fantasy, and sci-fi are what defines the world that we live in. Whether I was raised in the same fantasy world I grew up in and enjoy in is still an issue.
I’ve been using social media, particularly social networking sites (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.), as a communications tool for ages, although my use of social media has stopped. I’ve never been an exact science person or anything.
However, I’m a smart, curious person and have started using social media to spread facts on a wide range of topics.
I can’t use the tools of those social media for my research and, therefore, I’ve come to prefer more social science rather than data analysis for my work.
The social media world has changed. But one thing that has changed is the use of social media and more importantly, your data.

In a recent interview, Mark Wahlberg, creator of a website that promotes science and science fiction, discussed some of the problems that can arise from using social media, with some of us wondering how the social media industry would cope.
There have only been so many places for people to share their research on one topic. Why do you think that makes it harder?
People are only interested in the social justice message when they know their research. Even if you share a large amount of information about scientific research it’s still too early to actually share all research you do. People do love the fact that they can share great research. In that sense, it’s very important to have a large amount of research on one topic that’s related to people.
There’s definitely a problem with that. When people have so many things on their hands which they don’t like, they tend to seek to share with their friends. This has to do with the nature of the study. We might need to put an embargo on research where you can only access research that you really want to share. And if you have too many things, it also leads to all kinds of negative news.
I think technology can do a whole lot to get more people engaged and interested in science through this information. It opens up new places for people to research in science and I think that’s something we’re going to see when we go into social media.
When we try to turn technology into a tool for people’s livelihood, we’re doing an unintended side effect by making it more difficult for people to use it.
If it’s not a tool for helping people find a research or to improve their lives, in a way, people are going to end up buying a lot of stuff on this and that means they are likely going to have to spend more and pay a lot more for it and that’s going to make it really difficult for them to find information.
It’s going to make data collection much more challenging in a lot of areas. I think there will be a lot more people who are interested in science with a lot of knowledge about the topic, like you will find things like this one, you may find information
Politico is a large political journalism organization, located in Virginia. The author Stephanie Simon is the senior education reporter. Simon won the Education Writers Award in 2013. Not only has Simon dedicated her work to education, but she was also a teacher as well and has multiple views on said situations.
This source was extremely helpful. This article answered a main concern: Is there an age limit when it comes to companies taking and selling personal information? According to this article there isn’t. There needs to be harsher federal regulations in place when it comes to minors and data mining. Also, parents need to be aware of what information is being collected from their children and how they can opt out if needed.
The article talks about different ways that data mining is not only affecting children, but parents and teachers as well. The writer believes that different tests and structures of education for children, are in fact data mining. Leo Hohmann wrote the article to stress the opinion and views of parents and teachers in regards to children. Data mining and education can be put into the wrong hands. This article stresses how parents should have a choice in what takes place in their children’s lives. Information collected during a child’s youth, should not place who are they for the future.
