More than Ambition
When I was in Grade five in primary school, I was told to participate in Zhejiang Province Writing Competition. I was so proud that I told myself I must get a prize. However, it turned out that I failed. With huge ambition but no efforts one is bound to fail.

When I was in high school, I was ranked at 40 or so in 60 students. It means I was not a good student in terms of study. If oneā€™s score is not high enough then he has no chance to college. In that case, I forced myself to spend more time studying and gave up entertainment. Preparation for the college entrance examination was full of vapidity and hard work. But that maybe the period which I made the fullest use of my time. Although the process is tough, I was delighted that I didnā€™t give up because of the bad conditions. On the left of my desk, there was a sentence to remind me what I should do. ā€˜Go wherever you want, but you must pay nowā€™. The goal was like my heart, beaten all the time. This story had a happy ending. Ambition plus a lot of efforts, and with a little luck, success may say ā€œHelloā€ to us.

Now, Iā€™m a junior student in college. Thereā€™re still many students playing computer games all the time. But the others may have already started preparing for further education, or the postgraduate entrance exams. I choose to take the latter one. It is really a challenge for me to take part in this exam. First of all, I have to learn math from the very beginning. Second, I have no idea about management which is the major I want to apply. Third, itā€™s also hard for me to overcome the political test. Though thereā€™re so many obstacles in front of me, Iā€™ll not give up. And I know only ambition is not enough; I must spare no efforts to reach my goal. In other words, to achieve oneā€™s goal depends on not only ambition, but efforts. Also, ambition should be bigger.
