Relationship Between Leadership Behavior of the Principal and Job Satisfaction of Teachers
The purpose of the study was to describe the leadership behavior of the principal and the job satisfaction level of the teachers. It also investigated whether a relationshi existed between these two factors. It sought to answer the following questions:

1. What is the leadership behavior profile of the principal as perceived by the teachers in therms of (1) initiating structure (2) consideration (3) over-all

2. What is the level of job satisfaction of the High School teachers as perceived by themselves in terms of : (1) rewards (2) relationship with people (3) nature of work (4) organizational context (5) overall job satisfaction

3. What if any is the relationship between perceptions of the leadership behavior of the principal and job satisfaction level of teachers.
A descriptive method was used in this study with high school teachers participating as subjects. The instruments used were: 1. Leader Behavior Description Questionnaire Form XII for leadership behavior first developed by the staff of Ohio State Leadership Studies and later revised by Ralph Stogdill in 1963 2. The Job Satisfaction Survey, a self report scale developed by Paul Spector in 1985.

Findings derived from the study were:
1. Female respondents perceived the principal to be low in both leadership dimensions and were relatively more satisfied than the males
2. Single and married respondents were similar in the way they perceived the principal who behavior was characterized by high in initiating structure and consideration dimensions.

3. The first three age groups varied in the way they perceived the behavior of their leader. Their overall job satisfaction level was average.
