In my opinion, these two cities are the most exciting destinations in the United States. The perception and reputation are sensitive issues for both destinations. Being dependent upon tourists to support the economy is vital to the very existence of these two amazing cities. Which one has the most to offer someone deciding on a vacation destination?
Las Vegas is the excess capital of the world, in my opinion. Every hotel, meal, casino, and attraction approaches customer service in the biggest way possible, one establishment trying to outdo the other in order to keep the tourists coming from every corner of the world. It is almost impossible not to feel the heart and soul in every inch of the strip. Lights, music, and live shows appear in hotel after hotel on the strip. Of course, you never know if it is day or night when you are in a casino, no windows, clocks or daylight reaches you. There are activities and shows well into the night, a true city that never sleeps. The lure of “winning big” is in the air and everyone feels lucky. The cuisine from gourmet restaurants, buffets, and local establishments are sure to please every palette.
Budget: The Strip is a family-friendly, welcoming, and always friendly hotel. Best of all, all tables and lobbies are in the same location and all tables are ready to accept guests into the same rooms. Everything is on the property for you to enjoy! Access: Las Vegas has a great history that started as a tourist attraction with the first hotel that you entered. But you never know when it will be back. Traveling through Vegas in your own car, your car at night, and your wallet on your lap is a part of it. This was always planned, but it didn’t get through until well in the early 20th Century. We’ve seen many amazing things in Vegas during our time here you will come to this one hotel for a few days, see and learn some amazing things and have a great time exploring Las Vegas. Cost: I love the best Vegas experience and it has to be the best and we all appreciate that. Vegas isn’t the only place with an incredible view of Las Vegas. The Las Vegas Strip is the ultimate destination and most loved place in the world. We would love to visit other places such as California, Florida, Nevada, Colorado, Illinois and Arizona.
Etc.: We have two locations in Utah. If we have the time and we will explore this area it is easy to find great views of Las Vegas from both our hotels and resorts (like Las Vegas with its huge views of Mount Desert. It is my favorite place in the world to spend a night. Even my two sons are there and I’m getting to know all of them much better. And if you want to add up everything and get some extra hours for the night time as we do in Vegas, it will come down to a number. On average the best nights for us are the weekend. However if we go to Las Vegas and live in Las Vegas I usually have the weekend to spend a decent amount of time in Las Vegas and with more people on weekends it can be quite a fun time if you want at your own pace!!
I recommend this hotel/trip as it offers better views of the Vegas Strip, but does not have that many tables so if you live in Vegas or are staying in Vegas for the weekend, your weekend can be even better.

Of course, there is the shady side of Vegas. The prostitution, which is legal in Nevada, is offered on every corner of the strip, so keep the kids in at night. Alcohol flows freely just about anywhere you go; and of course, there is a heavy drug trade that is somewhat less noticeable. Then there is the drain on your wallet. While getting there is inexpensive, taking in the attractions and shows will cost you. If you gamble, well no one is going to stop you.
There is a great history to this town, from its early days of building this town in the middle of the desert, the alleged mobster era, recreating its image, and dealing with the effects of a recession. Just outside of the strip is the Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area. This is an amazing natural conservation, which boasts native species of desert wildlife and fauna. You surely want to visit to experience the desert in its natural glory. If you want to escape the nonstop action of Vegas, just a couple hours away by car is the world renowned Hoover Dam. This is one of Americas seven modern civil engineering wonders. The history on its construction is truly impressive, given the harsh conditions in which it was constructed.
