Kudler Fine Foods is a sole proprietorship gourmet grocery store established in 1998 by Kathy Kudler. Kudlers responsibilities as the leader of the company is to make important decisions that will increase customer loyalty and profitability. The companys objective is to increase its revenue by implementing a frequent shopper program, providing quality products at decent prices, while striving to satisfy all the customers needs. In addition to increasing customer awareness and sales, a company has to be open-minded to seek new opportunity to promote their goods and services.

In a professional, well-established business like Kudler Fine Foods, everyone plays a role in the decision making of the company. From upper management to an entry-level position, each individual has a responsibility to uphold the companys reputation by obeying the code of ethics. This ultimately means that each and every individual is responsible for providing a safe and respectful environment for themselves and those around them.

Being morally responsible is not an easy concept. Each individual has his or her own beliefs and values of what is right and wrong. Morals are created based on our environment growing up, personal experiences, traditions and so forth. By having a legal system with laws and rules enforced combined with others morals and values in mind, only can a business be sustainable.

The vision of the company is to offer the convenience of a one-stop shop for gourmet cookers who are looking for the freshest ingredients. Kudler Fine Foods promises to provide high quality goods that are for a reasonable price all while being approved by the FDA – or it is free. In addition to product safety and truthful advertisement, the company and their employees strive to meet their customers needs by providing exceptional customer service. Besides customers, the company also treats their employees well by providing humane working conditions and is always willing to adjust to new ideas. These characteristics are all key elements of a prospering business.

As the leader of the company, it is Kathy Kudlers responsibility to make ethical decisions that will in turn, increase customer loyalty and the happiness of the employees. For example, by providing the correct tools, resources and a safe working area for the employees, you are also increasing productivity, which will have an effect on the quality of service provided to consumers.
