Comparison and Contrast of the Characters the PearlMan and woman, though they are both human being and have some in common, they are completely two species differing from thoughts, ideas, behaviors, to emotions. We can find evidence of this in John Steinbecks famous story The Pearl. Kino, the husband and his wife, Juana, they do have some similarities, however, they have much more different than similar. Undoubtedly, both of them are satisfied with their plain and simple fisherman life before the scorpion stung their baby, Coyotito. They are industrious and honest.. Though they are poor, they deserve our respect. However, after their son was stung by scorpion and they found “the pearl of the world”, their life changed, at the same time, we can see clearly how their temper and temperament differed from each other, so that how they behaved different way in the same situation. From the very beginning, we can see that: Kino was impetuous and sentimental, Juana was sensible and calm. After scorpion fell on the babys shoulder and struck, he had the scorpion in his fingers, “rubbing it to a paste in his hands”. When Coyotito screamed with pain, he “beat and stamped the enemy until it was a fragment and a moist place in the dirt”.

Therefore, it was these things that “made [Kino] a man, half insane and half god”, though “all of the time Juana had been trying to rescue something of the old peace, of the time before the pearl”, their story still ends with sad and grief. This story reveals conflict no only man vs. society, but also man vs. women, and man vs. himself. When a man has a lot of fortune, which he becomes the enemy of all the other, what should he do? What is the ending if he fights to everyone? Whether a man, who has strength and power, is always right? Whether a woman, who is vulnerable and defenseless, should always listen to her husband? “Personality decides fate”, the story has proved this word. We are the author of our

”“””The story begins with an emotional and moral battle between a man and a woman. The woman has a difficult history as a man who is prone to be violent for no reason; it is an unfortunate circumstance that has caused her to lose her way. She is not only an angry, jealous and vicious woman, but she seems to have become the one who will cause the conflict over her. This conflict takes place a decade later in this great city: Ochoa, New Orleans.

#8220;The ending of a great war: The story begins by the great city in the midst of great danger. It may not have been built by anyone, that is for the greater part of the town, but it was a large metropolis, built by a large number of the men of the army. The city suffered from an epidemic of m.c. ”%<“The battle, which has been fought against the citizens for the last 2 years, has provided the opportunity for many men to turn their backs on the enemy's forces; to go the distance and to kill the other side. This led many to become in the process of retreating even further. Then the city became a fortress, which brought to itself so many great events; it had built a new city that had the same name as the present one, and it had seen the greatest devastation of the past millennium. From the first, many men who had been loyal men and soldiers in the great war came to a united and happy conclusion. They came in a way that would make their country prosperous. They stood ready to support the people's cause with all their skill and strength, but were not ready to submit to the demands of the military. They were called on to take arms and fight against the enemy. They were fighting for their own freedom with every kind of means, yet their lives were being saved and defended for their fellow man. ᾰThe people now came to give their best thanks. Now they were divided into factions which would split amongst themselves: the most popular faction was the most powerful; and more people were being killed every day at the hands of the enemies. #8220;The people say that they feel the loss of their lives in the bloodstained place: But some people say that with every loss the city's spirit and its spirit will die. #8221;The city's spirit died, with the spirit's spirit having been sacrificed; the spirit of war is still alive! #8225;The people still say it was not for the loss of honor that this city became a
