When Jealousy Takes Over

Abano ESL EWhen jealousy takes over I began thinking about the possible reasons for people to avoid this feeling and suddenly wondered: maybe we don’t express jealousy not because of fear or because it’s uncomfortable but because we don’t even realize that what we actually feel is jealousy. I know many people, including myself, who have found themselves in a situation such as this and have ridden the emotional roller coaster that is often associated with jealousy in a relationship. Have you ever experienced the feeling of being overprotective to a person whom you love? Or that moment when your blood is boiling because of seeing your someone talking to a stranger? Yes! I experienced it and let me tell you it’s all about jealousy.
I have experienced several irrelevant forms of jealousy that I was able to deal and overcame. I am not a jealous person as in envying the other people or what they have and I rarely thought that I had the ability to feel jealous until I entered college. When I entered college, I met this girl who became mine for a year but now listed as one of my ex GF’s, bruh!!. Yes I loved her, we made plans with our future like getting married, having children, go to Paris for our honeymoon and grow old with her. But a short one and half year later, that relationship ended. In our relationship we experienced several passionate fight over jealousy because I don’t want her to hang out with her friends, I want her to always inform me what her plans are and even what she is doing. In other words, I wanted her to be secure and that made me overprotective. Adding to several other factors, looking back I think the main reason that wrap up our relationship was jealousy.
