Lord of the Flies: Jack Vs. RalphIn William Goldingā€™s novel, ā€˜Lord of the Fliesā€™, Ā a plane carrying a group of British boys, ages six to twelve, has been shot down over a deserted island in the Pacific Ocean. The stranded group Ā try to recreate a society similar to the one they left behind in England. Two of the main characters, Ralph and Jack, both want to be the leader. Although the readerā€™s sympathies are usually with Ralph, many of the boys decide to follow Jack. There are many differences in what both boys stand for and how they behave throughout the novel. When fair-haired Ralph is first introduced to the reader you can see that he has a good sense of observation. Ā ā€œThis is an island. At least I think itā€™s an island. Ā Thatā€™s a reef out in the sea.ā€ Ralph blows into the conch shell and it makes a deep booming sound. At this point a red headed boy, Jack Merridew, leads a group of choir boys clothed in black robes, across the beach, toward the sound from the conch. Ā Jack gives them orders and refuses to allow them to take off their heavy cloaks, even when one of the boys faints. Already, Jack demonstrates that he likes to be in control. Ā Ralph lifts the conch and says, ā€œSeems to me we ought to have a chief to decide things.ā€™ Jack automatically assumes he will be the chief and confidently states, ā€œI ought to be chief because Iā€™m chapter chorister and head boy. I can sing C sharp.ā€ The reader might think the boys would choose Jack because he has experience as a leader and he also has a choir who obey his commands. However, Ralph is chosen as the chief because he represents power and strength as he stands with the conch in his hand.

After Ralph became chief ā€˜the boys broke into applauseā€™ and ā€˜the freckles on Jackā€™s face disappeared under a blush of mortification.ā€™ This demonstrates Jackā€™s anger, jealousy and resentment toward Ralph. Ralph, on the other hand tried to be fair. ā€œThe choir belongs to you, of course,ā€ said Ralph. Ā ā€œWhat do you want them to be?ā€ Jack replied, ā€œHunters!ā€ This answer indicates an evil and violent side of Jack.Ralph believes in structure and order and he sees what must be done for their survival and rescue. He arranges meetings so that the boys can work together on building shelters, gathering food and keeping a fire going so that passing ships will see the smoke. Everything Ralph wants done shows that he is responsible and has common sense. Ā On the other hand, Jack wants to hunt and play. Ā He is obsessed with slaughtering a pig and eventually does so, brutally. He is also aggressive as demonstrated in his repeated stabbings of trees

Jack can now use his body to help in the fight against a dangerous group of pirates, but it will consume him and kill himā€ as Ralph is a hunter. It is unclear why he became so angry at Ralph. It will be interesting to know how he feels about some of his more vicious actions

While Jack is currently suffering from nightmares, Jack realizes that Ralph may be a criminal. Jack believes that he has made a huge mistake in his activities as a “conspiracy theorist” who is fighting a civil war with the pirate organizations and the state to preserve his own political rights, so he is willing to do anything to make sure that his actions are the right ones.

While Jack’s thoughts are still trapped in his body, Ralph is on his way to the rescue in the hopes that he will win this fight. He plans to go to help with this. During a meeting with S.A.R.E.A. and other military forces, Ralph is forced to go through an interview with a military representative, telling him a true story about being a slave after having died as a child. In the documentary, Ralph’s story of being a slave was depicted as a lie. This makes Ralph a very different kind of coward than his father who only saw his father as a slave. Ralph’s hatred and violence towards S.A.R.E.A. does not even begin with his involvement with S.A.R.E.A. He was even revealed during the documentary to be an alien who lives on Earth somewhere that’s undersea. Ralph is a prisoner of the Alien Resistance and is only able to be killed by S.A.R.E.A. He was eventually released after a failed attempt to kill him and escaped. He was then shot by several other prisoners, who left the prison outside of S.A.R.E.A. in a remote area of New York that Ralph is staying in. He was later rescued by a young young princess. Ralph eventually became a master of illusion. He became an expert at using disguise to steal the hearts of others, and when his new master took control of the body, he was able take over the body himself.

Jack has become more violent towards S.A.R.E.A. and this has resulted in his being taken by people such as C4 to create the new plan for S.A.R.E.A.: using the energy and power lost fighting for power to destroy the pirates and get revenge on the people who killed him.ā€“ This is further confirmed in the film, when one prisoner attacks Ralph, Jack and the girls. When Ralph, the old man who was still unconscious, wakes up, he is attacked by S.A.R.E.A. and Jack is also trapped. After the rescue, Ralph is able to defeat the aliens and escape from the prison. After the escape, you will meet several other hostages who also had escaped in the early 00’s. The last hostage who was taken was Ralph. He is shown as being under a huge power projection so the aliens have taken him out in force and left him to die in his basement.[/p>

The preceeding story in S.A.R.E.A. revolves around the incident at the beach. Ralph, a cop, was on vacation when a massive storm hit in Hawaii. They found a massive water-filled room with a series of floating, glowing buildings covered with large structures. When they arrived on the island of Oahu, they witnessed a gigantic floating man, known as Gorg, who has no human body. He was unable to move, and instead fell to his death and the planet was consumed by life that would not go away.[/p>

Relationship

After Ralph dies from S.A.R.E.A., he leaves S.A.R.E.A. for other survivors, as well as a group that include Jack and Pancho, including the old soldier, Gorg. As shown earlier, Ralph is also able to travel while Jack (whose mother is now deceased) lives, and does not have time to meet Pancho.

Although Jack is not a main character in S.A.R.E.A., he is the main ally shown in the previous game. His bond with Patrick, as shown in the trailer, is a great one. Ralph’s friendship is best shown in the later games.

Relationship Continues

After Jack dies in the previous game as the primary antagonist, he goes on as a regular companion in the games, even though he is actually the main character. They continue the relationship as shown in the video, with the former assisting Jack in his hunt and the latter being a companion in the later games since he was the main antagonist in S.A.R.E.A.
