First thing leader does is acknowledge what the other side is about; that the other side may have a point.True leadership isnt saying the other side is wrong or condemning the other side.Second step:The leader tries to put the information together: both groups to understand each others prespective on this.Have a group of people from both groups to discuss for weeks on end to elevate the understanding of both sides in order to come to a common solution. At the very least, thinking is elevated, leading to small shifts that might lead to a solution in the future.
