Oral Presentation Including MediaOral Presentation including media    To be honest, I am interested in Fahrenheit 451 because it is mainly about future society and wrote by the one of the famous science fiction writer called Ray Bradury. For me, the most interesting part of this book is that every buildings on that world are all flameproof, which means that fire can not damage buildings on that world. Therefore, all of the fireman loses their jobs.  The protagonists of the novel are Guy Montag who is a fireman and Clarisse McClellan, a seventeen insane girl who totally changed Montag’s mind. Also, the main conflict of the whole novel is book. On that world, books are banned and the duty of fireman is to burn all of the books. Montag works as a fireman for ten years long and believes that burning books is a right thing to do. Somehow, he realizes that he is doing wrong thing since he meets Clarisse, then try to challenge and change the whole world.

About narrative elements, the name of the book and the personality of characters are two important key points. Firstly, the reason why the author named this book Fahrenheit 451 is because books will be burned in 451 degrees fahrenheit which shows the society of the novel to us, to burn all of the books in order to slow down the development. Secondly, characteristic of Montag is telling us that we should use another way to treat and think our books because a large number of people nowadays are willing to read a summary of famous books instead of whole books which is damaging our culture and even history. To conclude, the author used these two key ideas to develop and extend the central idea, which is against the Utopia.

I think it is important to have more of an idea of how these are presented in books than the modern world is to use them and even those we choose to read.

Fahrenheit 451 is an important example of a book that is based on the concept of a utopia and, although I don’t think it was written as such, it is the author’s most famous book, with her story of torture that I find quite remarkable. It is very different to the typical utopia of fiction, which is not a real world but a fantasy world, and shows just how different the Western world from the Utopia it is today. This book is certainly worth a read.

Pioneering feminist scholar and journalist Laurence Tribe is often described not only as “a novelist of wisdom” but also “a self-proclaimed ‘author’. Tribe holds that she has given a lifetime of research into the history of women’s literary genres. Her own works include The Woman Who Killed Women Who Were Unkind by Thomas Mann, an autobiography by the poet Helen Lewis, and an erotic story by Maren O’Hara.

A lot of people hate torture because the subject is the woman. It is the woman who is tortured and the subject’s mother who is her slave.

It is hard not to feel that this torture was done in the name of ‘literature’. The person who was tortured had very little experience with literature and it was rather surprising to people that people used torture to write poetry or to write novels.

I believe that ‘at’ to some people means to take pleasure in torture – the person who has been tortured and the torture and the torture being carried out.
