Adolf Hitler EssayAdolph Hitler suffered psychological distress partly brought on by an unhappy childhood. His father was a domineering and cruel man, and his mother was an over indulgent mother. Hitler regarded woman for mans downfall and he condemned them for their disloyalty. This attitude is probably the outcome of his early experiences with his mother who seduced him into a love relationship. Then Hitler felt as though his mother betrayed him by giving herself to his father. Because Hitler felt betrayed from his mother, he never gave himself into the hands of a woman again with the exception of his niece; this relationship also ended in disaster. (Langer, n.d.).Hitler attended school between the years of 1896 and 1898. At first he was a good student. In 1898 he went to primary school and in 1900 to 1905 he went to secondary school. In secondary school he only completed three 3 years; he had to repeat 2 of the years twice. He was then expelled and he eventually dropped out of school all together at the age of sixteen. I think Hitler did so poorly in school because of his family life. He was a confused child and did not know whether to love his mother or be in love with his mother. (Stokes, 2004).

The outcome of these early experiences probably left him feeling very much alone in a hostile world. Hitler hated his father for the beatings that he used to endure as a child; because of his confusion with his mother he distrusted her and probably thought of himself to be a week man. When his father and mother both passed away Hitler was left with no relatives willing or able to care for him at the age of nineteen. (Stokes, 2004).When Hitler dropped out of school he decided to take a different path in life. He thought that this path would help him to be strong again and not to feel sorry for himself. Hitler was full of dreams but greatly lacked in education, experience and skills. Hitler applied to art school twice and got rejected each time. His life gradually headed downhill after these rejections. (Stokes, 2004).

Hitler’s dream of a perfect man was a nightmare. He had no skills to overcome that nightmare. No education, no experience to be found. No hope of making it on to the next stage. A lifetime of humiliation and self-destruction was all he was able to muster in his brain. He fell into a deep depression, his love for his mother completely shattered. When he turned seventeen Hitler went on to become a successful photographer and was married to his first wife; she died a happy couple of years later. He still holds very much of her memories of how the parents of his former pupils told his family to get over their disappointment at his father’s passing. Hitler did not get as far as he wanted the majority of his life, but he was determined to move on at a young age. (Stokes, 2004).

One of the hardest things to face during his short life was a man that had much to offer others such as himself. While at the same time finding a place of love for himself in people who were not the same as him I am sure he felt very much at home here in the studio after his father’s death, living as a family in a house that his parents loved. This is not to say Hitler felt alone in being with his parents, even with his sister. Though at first he had been much more lonely and a little jealous of his family, after he finished his studies and took his final exam at Munich he was able find his identity. The only problem was that he was unable to find any support to his family for the time being, and after he decided to leave the country he never came back. Hitler was able to establish his own art school at the age of fifteen where he began to learn what he wanted to create. He eventually finished his studies in Art and began to try to establish himself as an artist. At this time Hitler also began to study painting and had a very good appreciation for the art world. He realized that his hobby and work, which he used mainly for teaching children, could no longer meet his needs or be viewed as a hobby that needed attention. Having graduated from art school he took up many of the same activities as his father, and was extremely active in the arts and in various other activities. The fact that he was not given the opportunity to work as an artist also gave him an impetus to develop his interests in some more interesting fields. He even started working in the fields of photography and in his work at several art schools around the country. (Stokes, 2004).

In 1942 he went back to his childhood home on the Bavarian border with Germany as one of his students. He studied at the University of Freiburg before going on to go to school where he got a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree and also studied Fine Arts in order to get a degree or something. At the same time he took several classes at his old university in Munich; as well as working as a teacher and making art. In addition to his arts classes at his college all that he was given was material for making prints for his own work. His drawings and drawings became progressively larger and larger, he began to work on his own projects. The
