Many people from many places have different cultural customs, beliefs, and laws. Luke 3:1, from the Christian bible, states that Jesus was baptized in the 15th year of the reign of Tiberius (this would be considered about the time of his birth). This is about the time that the Islam religion and the Judaistic religions began. Still today, these three religions are more or less competing for the title of the real religion. Islamic/Muslims believe that Jesus was infact an important person. However, they do not believe that he was the Messiah. Instead, Muhammed to be one of the most important messangers of God. Jewish people believe that the Messiah has yet to come. This is called the Messianic age. In John 3:16, a very important message was stated. “For GOD (which is the God that Muslims, Jews, and Christians believe in) so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten sun, and whoever shall believe in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.” All three religions believe that one God, (monotheism) the God who talked to Abraham (father of Ishmael and Isaac) is the only God. This is the same God in the bible that gave birth to Jesus. So, yes. Jesus is the Messiah. God of the universe sent him to die on the cross and rid of peoples sins. Three days later, this man named Jesus rose again. He still lives today. He is seated at the right hand of God, and he is living in our hearts.
