Reformation is a Reaction against Renaissance, a rebellion against the cult of human body, quest for luxury, joy, celebration and power.
The Renaissance and the Reformation are two of the most considerable eras in history, which follow each other respectively yet contrast in all means. Even if that fact of Renaissance ideology and humanism lead to the Reformation is undeniable, the values of these two succeeding periods of time vary and oppose completely, therefore the Reformation is in no way a continuation to Renaissance. While during Renaissance, humanism, individualism, secularism, and realism but also logic were valued, Reformation, in the other hand was more about chastity, obedience, and religious fragmentation.

Renaissance was a period of time which was a quest of luxury, joy celebration and power which yielded pieces of art, new architecture, and changed lifestyle of those in living it. It opposed the Medieval ideas of poverty, obedience, chastity, and valued the human body and physical attraction (which was taboo in the Medieval era).
