Is Third World Immigration a Threat to America’s Way of Life?
American Immigration has been a topic for many years now. People either have a problem with it or don’t. It has many pros and cons, and it varies depending on the delicacy of the situation. Economically, immigration is not the problem in the United States. The problem comes in United State’s social aspect. It has gotten to the point where it is getting harder and harder for the government to control. Even though immigration is becoming a problem in the United States, I do believe there is ways that it can be fixed, and it doesn’t necessarily have to be a threat.

Hot waves of Mexican immigrants have come in through California, and Cuban immigrants migrate through Key West. The way they decide to stay also plays a role in their life in the United States. It is by law that immigrants coming from Cuba by boat, once they land in United States soil, they can stay. That’s very lucky for them, however, it is not like this for everyone. Mexicans try to sneak in through trucks and many times are caught in the frontier, and may be arrested for their attempt. Those who make it through successfully must find a way to stay without having the possibility of being deported. For these reasons, many marry and pretend to be married to someone who is a citizen.

These are the reasons that Americans see immigrants as a problem for the United States. Immigrants have to go out of their way and do everything possible to not get caught that they try to bend the rules and go out of their way. This causes conflicts with the law and later causes a chain reaction for the citizens of the United States. If the United States handled the situation in another matter, perhaps immigrants might not want to do harm and instead help everyone out. If companies were easier on immigrants and leaving them with jobs, then a lot of immigrant’s problems would be solved.
